    Good tip. It’s amazing the number of negative reviews for these products which are people sticking them wrong.

    Although I didn’t buy one of the ready to use hooks, I bought just the large strips branded by amazon basics. So far they have been brilliant…. 6 weeks so far.

    I have used them in my bathroom on shiny porcelain tiles and went with the belt a braces approach, calculating the rough weight and using twice as many strips as i needed.

    I made a plywood panel 30 cm long and stuck 8 strips along it, I currently have 3 bath towels and 3 metal hooks fixed. So if you have a strong wall surface and clean it well before hand then they really can hold many Kgs
