As an immigrant here in the UK, I have learnt so much about the country in this game starting in 769 as the Earl of Reading and creating Britannia Empire vassalizing most of North Europe and swallowing France before they become a nuisance.
Highly recommended. As far as I read online, this is still deeper than CK3 but I did not dare to switch yet.
I'd argue that it's the best game Paradox have released!
worth it, but the time investment needed is significant
