I've had one of these monitors for about 18 months and it's been great. I used it via USB-c with my laptop and recently upgraded to the U2722DE so I could daisy chain (in future). Excellent at this price (and much cheaper than I paid for mine).

As always with dell sales, tempting, but I will never vote hot because their customer service is essentially illegally bad in the UK. If you ever have something show up thats not correct or broken, you will almost never get your money back (edited)

Looks like it's working on the 4k version as well.

USB-c connectivity is great, for me it meant just one USB cable between my laptop and monitor handling video, audio and power. So no more power brick for my laptop - just the USB c cable to the monitor.

That's great! I use a desktop but I have a laptop next to me too. So that would eliminate my charger too. Less wires is always good

I paid a full price of £300 for this when it first came out, ouch. And Dell declined my £30 cashback on topcashback and claimed that the order was returned, yet I'm using the monitor right now...

The usb-c connectivity is reliable, you can connect and charge your laptop at the same time. The webcam is pretty decent. Speakers and microphone are very average, I'm always using AirPods instead.

The image quality itself is ok, I've seen better from Dell but all the extra features make this monitor worthwhile I think. (edited)

I bought this for £209 some time ago, paid in 3 PayPal installments, well worth it, haven't used the webcam or speakers much but it's good to have.

Thanks for the post I've just ordered one that's due to be delivered tomorrow! I considered the 4k option but it felt like overkill for my WTH needs.

No problem at all. Hope you will like it. Decent specs on both tbh.

Very tempting, I was hoping for higher refresh but not going to lie, very tempted to just go for this as I have never had above 60fps and always been happy with it lol. I know this one can go to 75 too but that's not much more. Hmm

Would I gain or lose anything using USB-C connection? Right now I use Display Port, is USB-C as good as that?

Also, how do mouse and keyboards work if you plug directly into the monitor i.e for gaming ones that use software like Logictech. Will it all work fine and the monitor will somehow tell whatever device is connected to it to use that machine? (edited)

I guess your mouse and keyboard can connect to your laptop. If the laptop has only one USB port, you'd need a hub to then connect all the devices. Though this is just a guess. I'm tempted by the monitors myself as I have a work laptop that is USB-C so it makes sense to go for these or similar.

Edit: so just read up on it and you basically leave your keyboard, mouse, printer, speakers, etc plugged into the monitor then it's just one USB C cable to hook up everything to your laptop, including power. Brilliant. (edited)

I'm more surprised it hasn't been invaded by hoardes of people complaining that this isn't good enough for their video games.
