Imo, this is not worth that price. It's not a great game. For the record, I adored Diablo 3 and also Path of Exile. POE is free and a lot better. Save your money. Unless you really really want this. I pre-ordered and regret it.

I experienced similar pre-order regret. Sunk countless hours into Diablo 3, enjoying many Seasons of replay, but somehow IV really feels like a monotonous grind.

I also find the skill tree in IV a nightmare; it’s clunky using a controller, and unlike III where you could easily experiment with different skills, IV makes it much more painful to chop and change.

Was a massive waste of £60 for me. Still a waste at £40. The game is clearly designed to be a slog, especially with each season being the major reset.

I've been told there'll be some change of life improvements. But I won't be back anytime soon, unless they revamp most of the game.

The overworld is boring and doesn't reward the player much. The dungeons are clearly a cut and paste of prior versions with a different graphic.

When they stop cutting corners for the sake of making a quick buck, then it'll be worth looking at. For now, don't bother.

they have taken everything good from an ARPG and binned it and taken everything bad from WOW and doubled down on it

with 8000+ hours on D2, D3 and PoE D4 is the dullest most boring ARPG I have ever played by a lightyear

    avoid like the plague

Wasted £60 on this. Campaign was good but Endgame needs another year in development

How is this single player? My friends who game share bought this new and completed it in a few days. They still play it but are obscene levels now.

The campaign is good, but doesn't take long to complete. After that the grind is soul destroying.
Looks like it needed another year in development.

Loved the demos and apparently recently they have fixed a lot of issues but need to buy level up or two to get the free stuff earned before otherwise I’d get this I think. Cheers OP. (edited)

I had this game free when I bought a graphics card. Never played diablo games before

Do you enjoy this given that you're not played Diablo before?

I would stick to the real Diablo games: Diablo 2 or Path of Exile

D2 is pretty good. The remaster was well done.
