I had cause to use this on sunday after daughters young dog stayed overnight and got way overexcited. I was very impressed how well it performed removing nasty brown stains from a creame carpet in moments. Very good stuff

This stuff wouldn't touch a stain from spilled cream which kept reappearing. In the end I risked trying £0.95 worth of Elbow Grease and it worked brilliantly!

That's because Dr Beckmann isn't a solvent and Elbow grease is. The oil in the cream was removed from the degreaser in the Elbow Grease. Still I would not recommend you use that to remove stains as it's highly flammable, best to use something like Prochem Citrus Gel or Ecopog.
