The only 260.5mm x 23mm discs the internet can find are for a 1990-94 Honda Accord.

If you have this car then brake discs are your last problem.

If you have a 1990's Honda you'll probably still be motoring long after many more modern cars are on the scrap heap. Glorious era of Japanese automotive manufacturing.

You can go wrong if the brakes don't stop in time

But please people, us your head.
Hilario-us concept that heavily reducing the price of a completely functional product due to dwindling demand also heavily reduces the product's functionality.

Shocking company, twice the price of Halfords, they wanted £120 for break pads x4 for a 2014 Suzuki Swift…

    Twice the Price of Halfords!

So do you reckon Halfords will have these for £1.93

I have used GSF car parts many times and they are much cheaper and better after care then Euro Car Parts - who always give you the wrong part that results in down time on the ramp

Great deal, if you plan on using them as a set of beach frisbee's!

But please people, us your head. Brakes on a car are one of the parts you don't cut corners on...quite literally. Spend more and keep loved ones on the road safe (edited)

Wouldn’t trust my life on brakes the price of a coffee

Why? Only cheap as they're trying to get rid of old stock. Fully certified, will be fine.

Drive Tec discs are terrible quality as they warp, I put a pair of discs and pads on a friends car to get it through its M.O.T and within 6 weeks the discs had warped sending a bad shudder through the steering wheel whilst braking, I then changed them to Ferodo discs and pads and they are still on the vehicle to this day. I don't believe you, in so far as if any of the other suspension components is bent or ball joints need replacing, bearings, etc then it will show in the discs and the tyre wear
Also some makes of disks are directional and it has been known for DIY ers to fit them the wrong way round.
Unless you drive a performance car or a high end car then cheap discs will make no difference.
OPs will also be good for those building the HUKD car bit by bit and as I hove posted in the past make good bar weights, when you consider Argos is now charging £2 per kilo!

    Bit unrelated (but related still)
I got new brake pads and discs put on earlier in the year and they are squeaky as hell. Very awkward when pulling up to a traffic light and there's a bunch of people sitting at the bus stop eeeeep

Is this normal? What to do
    Proveright's avatar

Who ever put the pads on should have used copper slip (grease) . Get them checked or look yourself, take out the pads and refit.
If you have a sticking piston your "new" pads could be down to the metal by now.
After driving, put your hand on the outside of each wheel. They should be cold. If the wheel is hot, then you need to investigate. (edited)
