All cars should come with these, safely secured and easily accessible in an emergency.

Not sure how true it is but I'm told that if you pull out your headrest from your seat, the bottom of the metal guide is made to break the window in emergency

    Good item
    Good price
But I'm like a kid I'd want to try it out, that would be expensive

Or just use your foot? I had a misspent youth and discovered car windows aren’t very strong.

I’ve tried smashing car windows aswell but found them very tough! Also I’ve seen police TV programs where trying to smash car windows with there night sticks and other heavy duty tools and the windows have taken multiple hits?

If you are walking and carry this you should be put in prison for obvious reasons as they count a glass cliams and like a car claim and of course you fix it privately Mr tax man want his 20% (edited)

This deal hasn’t received much heat? These could prove a valuable tool! Is there a better option? Thanks in advance.

Very useful and should be in every car. Just not a Silverline version. They are the cheapest of the cheap when it comes to tools and are of abysmal quality. If I was ever in a situation where I needed one of these I wouldn't have too much confidence. Definitely pay an extra few quid for a decent brand or something rated by AA or RAC like this: AA Emergency Car Window/Glass Hammer Seatbelt Cutter Rescue Tool AA6240 - Essential For Quick Vehicle Escape – With Mounting Screws And Bracket : Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools
