About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Spotted this earlier today as hadn't seen before on BA's shopping site. You can now earn 1 Avios per £1 spent at eBay when going through shopping.ba.com. Nice as you can also earn Nectar points too that you can convert into Avios.

From their site:

eBay will not entertain missing claims queries.
• You will receive lower rewards on certain items and categories including computer/tablets and networking.
• Rewards are only given on legitimate transactions.
• Rewards can only be given on purchases over £1.
• No rewards given on purchases over £45,000
• Rewards are only given on legitimate Winning Bid or "Buy It Now" transactions.
• Rewards are not available on bids place with a sniping service/tool.
• If anything from within a basket is unpaid or returned, the rewards for the whole basket will be declined.
• Rewards are not available on the following categories: Motors (Cars, Boats, Motorcycles, etc), Business, Industrial, Travel, Real Estate, Music, Gift Certificates/cards, Gold (bars or coins), Charity & Non-Profit items, “Lots More” and “Other Services” (under the Services tab).
• Rewards are only given on ebay UK whilst based in the UK.
• DO NOT click on advertising banners or sponsored links on the eBay website - you will not earn rewards.
• DO NOT visit other websites (including Google) whilst browsing on eBay – this may result in you not earning rewards.
• Do NOT add products to the ebay wishlist and purchase/bid later.
• Rewards rates are subject to change both up and down.
• Purchases of goods and services via this website are subject to the terms and conditions of the Retailer from whom they are purchased including, but not limited to, payment, delivery, and return policies. In the event that a member's activities and/or transactions are deemed fraudulent or cancelled by the Retailer, or Program Administrator and/or Promoter (in their absolute discretion), rewards will be cancelled and membership may be terminated. This decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• No rewards are given when using a Discount Code, Coupon or Voucher not sourced from the rewards site.
• No rewards are given on eBay-branded gift cards

Virgin also has 1 virgin point per pound spent at ebay through tracking. I personally value virgin points more than BA as their redemption rates are excellent to the US and Asia.

Just a shame they stopped flying to hkg

Much better value than converting nectar points to avios

Don't forget you also get the nectar points. The avios would be tracked through ba shopping portal

    Cold.
You can use TopCashback and convert to Avios with bonus - if needed, or keep as cash.
Here you stack with Avios, and as you see above people convert them to Nectar for eBay devaluing them..

    So 0.6% return rate.

might as well use complete savings for 10% cashback…

You can also get 1% through TopCashback, and then convert the cashback to Avios, where you'll get a 5% bonus. This is what I've been doing for the past year, where I'll compare them two and go with the higher one (not for eBay though). (edited)

Or just 10% cashback through Complete Savings.

You lose cashback with Quidco though.

This is an alternative to cashback. Avios has value too

If you are saying you get the avios and the nectar that is pretty cool - will I remember to switch off my ad blocking and go through the BA portal though :/
