Experience cordless freedom with the Einhell GE-CM 18/30 Li battery powered lawnmower; this kit includes a 3.0Ah lithium-ion battery and charger. Part of the flexible, high-performance Power X-Change family of cordless Power Tools and Garden machines
The lawn mower is powered by a brushless electric motor for longer operating times with no mechanical wear. With a cutting width of 30cm it effortlessly tackles small to medium lawns up to 150 square meters in size
The cordless walk-behind lawn-mower has a 3-level axial cutting height adjustment facility (30mm to 70mm), a long handle for comfortable operation and a generously dimensioned 25L grass box
The high-quality impact-resistant plastic housing has no problem with dense growth and overgrown areas. The lawn-friendly large wheels minimise impact to the lawn, compensate for areas of uneven ground and help the mower achieve precise results close to the lawn edge.
The folding long handle enables space-saving storage even in the smallest of garden sheds or garages. Transporting the mower is easy thanks to its light-weight and the integrated carry handle

I got this for £80 used/like new on the last warehouse clearance. It’s good, just 2 downsides - getting the basket assembled is a pain, but you only do this once; I also found that the basket is small and so I had to empty it more often.

Could you let me know how long it runs for approximately please? I've a pretty small garden and already use their gear for my cordless strimmer

How long would the supplied battery last?

My garden is 15 m by 10 m, it normally does it once and a half on a 3 a battery.
Does struggle with long grass though, needs more power (edited)

52607920-PyQzH.jpgIs this mower better than the one posted? Because this regularly goes around £100 on eBay during the 20% codes and I’m torn between the two. I’ve read bad things about the grass box on the one posted (keeps breaking and falling apart) so this fabric one fixes the issue

I have this mover and bought it last year, instead of this one posted. It's much better in terms of features. Lots of height settings, mulch function and the handle can be held with either hand, which is a bonus. Mine has worked perfectly, with no issues at all up to now. I'd say go for the better mower if you can afford it and see yourself using it enough

If you want to improve the runtime and help a little with it bogging down in longer grass the 5.2Ah battery helps, it's more expensive per Ah compared to a 4Ah battery, but it can deliver more power, which helped me cut the longer grass yesterday, I have 3Ah and 4Ah to compare to. (I appreciate we don't know the rated power of the motor on this).

If you want more reviews maybe see if you can find the same thing under the ozito brand. In Australia and NZ they rebadged it all and sell it in Bunnings really cheap so it's pretty good selling there.

Yeah, the Ozito labelled version was sold for a while over here in the UK during Bunnings' brief ownership of Homebase. I got one, complete with a 3h battery and charger for £99 in their clear-out of anything linked to Bunnings.
It's an excellent mower. We have 2 largish lawns of maybe 40-50 sqm each and I normally reckon to use up just under 2 batteries unless the grass is REALLY dry.
We were lucky enough to inherit a mains mower when we bought the current house, which does see very occasional use if we've been away on an extended break visiting family abroad and come back to a jungle!

30cm cutting is a very short width (ergo, you’d need to go up and down the lawn more to cut it all). Would recommend going with 37cm min

Do you have any recommendations that fit this description without breaking the bank?

I have loads of Einhell stuff including the 36v 43cm version of this lawnmower. It was great for about 9 months then the motor developed a fault. I asked Einhell and they wanted £129 for a new motor and because I’d bought it off eBay rather than one of their recognised resellers they didn’t want to help with warranty either.
