Excellent response. Love this site.
Hi, I guess that would be the c120 v the K3. There is very little difference between the c120 and the c110 except for a little more pressure and a 6m hose. Here is some text from the sales page of a K3. The K3 Premium has a flow rate of 380 litres per hour at 120 bar max pressure. The higher flow rate enables you to clean larger objects faster. The higher pressure gives you more power to shift dirt. Flow and pressure combine to give you greater power and performance. So they say 380 lph is good but the Nilfisk goes towards 440 lph which does make a difference. I intended to get one of these lower spec models so I can store my Kranzle over winter but in the end am looking at either a K4 compact which has been £115 at Halfords and Amazon recently with a 3 year guarantee (not frost mind!) or a Nilfisk c135 (2 year guarantee) if it comes back down to £99 as it has in the past. I think they offer better value with induction motors and a little more going for them. IMO, a good guarantee as with the K4 is a blessing. I would still take the c120 over the K3 but a bargain may change that. Hope that helps.
The Nilfisk C110 seems to have some quality issues too according to the Amazon link you provided. If you went a model up on both Karcher and Nilfisk, would you still have the same view? And which model would you go for?
If you want a pressure washer around this price, the Nilfisk C110 is better quality. Less than a couple of pounds more and offers 80 lph more flow which will clean better, has a 5m high pressure hose, not 4m like this and a metal pump.not plastic. Still a 2 year guarantee as well. It often goes sub £60 on offer at times. Karcher quality improves a bit higher up the range, these K2's are not built like they used to be. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nilfisk-110-bar-Pressure-Washer/dp/B01MRWOSJE/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1543824480&sr=8-4π=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Nilfisk&dpPl=1&dpID=31-HQMwvJ-L&ref=plSrch
I've got this one - they often come in a bit cheaper at around the £50 mark from time to time - got mine in Homebase, but to be honest its OK for washing the car but could do with something a bit more powerful
Well why not, different strokes for different blokes right?
every deal containing the word 'steam' will be put in the gaming category XD
Gaming? Seriously HUKD, sort it out!
The full control part is just a staged nozzle that clicks into place, car, patio etc. instead of a standard vario style lance. Beyond that and some wheels added to a washer you can pick up with your little finger, it is just a K2 available for £60 or less. Appreciate there is a car brush but not many in the know will use that. The low end Nilfisk models, C110 for example put out 440 lph, far more than this. I think it is expensive for what you get but it is reduced and that is why the OP has posted it.
I aggree, don't buy a Karcher. My Lidl one lasted over 8 years that was used on a building site to clean out cement mixers etc, still works however pulsing. My two Karcher's used to washer the car at home lasted less than 2 years each that were hardly used. The main issue with them is that the insides have brittle plastic components that crack as soon as the unit tips over. I picked up another Lidl one reduced to £49.99 last week with all the works.
Don't buy a Karcher get a Nilfisk instead Karcher isn't the brand it once was. A lot of the low end models have a cheap plastic pump housings that don't seem to last long where as the Nilfisk has cast metal pumps which are really strong and reliable. If you are looking to buy a pressure washer buy a Nilfisk it'll last you years, my last Karcher was a 2 series that lasted 14 months, my current Nilfisk is coming up to it's 9th birthday and it gets used and abused at least 6-7 times a month.
Last year got this for £64 on Black friday sales
You'll get better pressure bending a hosepipe. This really isn't that good.
It’s ok mate not your fault. I’m going down the same route. Although eBay state it is too late and they aren’t replying currently!
Sorry people, I’m going to cancel my order now they have changed it.. Might even have a word with eBay!!
In that case I will cancel my order. That is shocking
ad has chnaged, states refurbs now
States on the item brand new so not a refurb. Ordered one thanks OP.
I went for the anniversary in the end as the extra battery life swayed it.
Been loads of different types of karcher on sale past week, not the same one
Why does it feel like this is always on sale at Amazon?!
Anniversary Edition is £45, also.
Karcher products are no longer as good as they once were, cheap plastic pumps that don’t last, put a few pounds extra on top of the Karcher’s price and buy a Nilfisk pressure washer instead.
Had one of these and the pump split at the connector , common problem was in the summer too, would maybe expect it to happen in the winter left with water in it etc but in the summer. Replaced it with a Nilfisk that has been trouble free .
£2 for immediate tho is something, you even get it back if you buy one of the cleaners
£57.99 On Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/K%C3%A4rcher-K2-Compact-Pressure-Washer/dp/B009QX8ANQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1543185029&sr=8-3&keywords=Karcher+K2+Compact+Pressure+Washer
another unexpired expired deal? whats going on here??
Showing at £58 now :/
Yep gone up now to £46.99
They were on deal of the day, 2 days back for 4 quid less, but yes that was yesterday. Welcome to the wonderful world of deal posting (highfive)
Thanks for the recommendation. We were looking for a steam mop, but this model was out of budget. No longer! Gratitude citizen! (y)
Ah ha! Yes I've just checked and removed "steam" and "gaming" to avoid disappointing anyone!!!!
Seems like the mods had tagged it as ‘gaming’ due to having ‘steam’ in the title (steam is the name of a service you can use to download computer games from)
XD lucky woman!
Thanks OP - nice little Xmas pressie for Mrs D sorted. Can't wait to see her face on Xmas morning.
@jonhoggy looks like a different model but a good price also
Paid more for the sc2 about two years ago. Great price, great gadget.
This deal only just went live so don’t worry if you missed it! Haha glad it wasn’t dispatched!
Ordered the sc2 for 109 this morning! That will be going back, just ordered this, thanks for posting
bought the amazon one for delivery in a week so I can ponder. Is there any difference over the Anniversary edition other than larger battery capacity? On looking at faults on these, it looks like they're just 18650 cells soldered to them, so least should be replacable with a bit of solder when they stop holding charge
It perhaps might of still. I've bought stuff often at a certain price, and later looking at camelcamelcamel it shows as if its never been as low as that etc
Really???!!!! Laughable indeed.....
Typical amazon Joke I had this in my basket for week for £34.99 and then unsurprisingly it went to £67 last weekend.. wow now a penny off and it’s a deal of the day.... laughable
The anniversary edition is £45 at Wicks at the moment which seems good especially if you can get your hands on a trade card for an extra 10% or if you spend over £100 you get 15% off (available to everyone)
That wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Does anyone know if ScamAzon are like SleazyJet? In that, if you have something in your basket, they know you're watching it and so don't decrease the price?
click on the 12 month and it will open up a bocx , hope that helps
Couldn’t find info on the warranty, but they want £8.99 to make it 12months which I thought was a bit weird :/
With relatively low pressure, low LPH and small motor, I would not put much faith in the patio cleaner's abilities plus extended use will not be good for the motor / pump. Better getting the stand alone washer for £20 less.
@Waffles this includes the home kit, not just standalone pressure washer.
£59.99 at Amazon/Argos
All warehouse deals seem to have sold out
Can't find warehousefor £56
Thanks! Ordered a warehouse one, was about to pay £80 for a warehouse very good yesterday so £22 cheaper!
