I saw Faith No More in the Marquee club 1989 I had just moved to London so I loaded up on tickets for bands. They were damn awesome and the venue tiny, still remember it to this day. The best thing though was meeting these bands. I met Faith No More at Tower Records Picadilly for a record signing. Sadly I sold the vinyl a few years ago. I met Aerosmith when I was walking down Picadilly and they came out of The Marriott Hotel, Picadilly, I had just bought a few of their albums on tape. I looked at them and couldn't speak and they just laughed and got in their minibus. Then I met them again and took photos which I still have to this day, met them at a record signing

    I saw
Faith No More The Marquee Club 1989 either this date > fnmlive.com/198…/20 or this date > fnmlive.com/198…/21
    Aerosmith Wembley Conference center 1989
Guns N Roses Wembley Stadium (the original stadium) 1991
Skid Row (supporting GnR 1991 Wembley Stadium)
NiN (supporting GnR and then a few weeks later at The Astoria) 1991
Michael Monroe (ex Hanoi Rocks) 1990? Kentish Town
The Pixies 1991 - Brixton Academy
Stiff Little Fingers 1991 - Brixton Academy (Bruce Foxton ex The Jam on bass)
Jah Wobble 1991 or 1992 (I can't remember which venue, will have to look for my ticket stub)

I can't remember there must have been more but it was a time when I drank every drink there was to drink and every substance there was to take. Awesome times and I managed not to die, which is a total bonus

I mean can you imagine being in an audience, NO smartphones with a ton of people who love the band you do and you can whip it up dancing about like crazy whilst some awesome band plays. I can I was there >

Dunno why I'm saying this, sometimes I think I haven't lived then I remember from 1989 - 1992 I lived 10 lifetimes easily. Was awesome.

Anyway this is Child's Play, my neighbour where I used to live and moved from last year 2022, he saw The Doors, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Queen and more. Get out of here! That is gold. I wasn't old enough to see those bands but man he saw some incredible bands (edited)

I only discovered "alternative rock" around 1994, but basically went to about 2-3 gigs per week afterwards (up until 2000). Still got a lot of my tickets for a lot of those gigs too.

Brixton Academy was my hangout, along with The Garage, and Camden Underworld. London Astoria and LA2 would also get raided regularly.

    I really miss those days.

Alas, circa 2010 onwards, we really lost something in the internet and smartphone age.

Great band, amazing price. Always prefer them over Red Hot Chili Peppers.

This Epic deal has come From out of nowhere. No need for Caffeine to rock out to these albums because I Got that feeling this is A small victory for FNM fans. Easy listening, thanks OP! (edited)

I’ve been a massive FNM fan my whole life but only discovered Mike Patton’s other bands a few years back, they’re well worth checking out

Tomahawk (dark and weird), Fantomas (absolutely nuts), Mr Bungle (amazingly crazy prog rock) and Peeping Tom (only one album but was really good)

Absolutely! I've gone down a Mike Patton rabbit hole recently. It's brilliant

I had long hair at school, and used to put the headphones for my WALKMAN(!) under my shirt and under my hair, and listen to King for a Day in class.

Life has mostly been downhill since those halcyon days (edited)

It's a shame it doesn't include Sol Invictus, that album to me is right up there with Angel Dust!

Went and watched them at the o2 in Glasgow a few years back. They were excellent live! It was on my bucket list for 30 odd years!

I was at that Brixton gig! Saw FNM tonnes in the 90’s. Mike is a God.

Faith No More are right up there with the greatest rock bands that ever were. I would struggle to create a top 20 songs out of these albums, there are so many great tunes.
