    These are not brass. Both are cheap steel bristles; one is brass coloured and will contaminate any non steel surface with iron particles when used

    Agree, have the same issue. Though a lot seem to be coated now. Have you found anything that is brass you can share?

    I bought some last deal and they quickly lose bristles. Would NOT recommend for pizza stone / bbq or any other food prep area
