Frank's RedHot Fire-Roasted Jalapeño hot sauce is made by blending Fire-Roasted Jalapeño Peppers, Roasted Garlic and Lime for a crafted taste experience. It tastes great with grilled chicken, filled peppers, loaded nachos and tacos. It has a medium Chilli rating of 2 and has no Added Preservatives, Artificial Flavourings or Colours, MSG. Suitable for Vegans. Preparation and Usage: Shake well before use. Drizzle over your favourite food.

Personally, I love this one for not being too spicy and adding a nice roasted kick to... everything!

I like this one and the Chipotle one.

The Chipotle one is on Amazon 6 bottles for £12.87, but £12.23 if buy as S&S....and then there's a 20% off voucher if you are doing S&S (so potentially £9.78 for 6 bottles?

Edit: came up to £9.66 for 6 bottles with S&S and 20% voucher

If anyone likes hot sauces, or sauces in general then this place is my favourite online store.

    somelikeithot.shop/

If you check their Facebook group they often have discount codes.

I've ordered a couple dozen bottles over the past few months with the pink garlic being one of my faves! (edited)

Any other one you recommend which isn’t garlic?

£1.46 per bottle on Ocado with other varieties also on offer.

Did anyone else order and receive the original flavour? Refunded and will try again
    lukins1's avatar
Yup, came here to say the same

    Bought one last week.

The price isn't amazing. Asda and Ocado are the same price. Other float around the £1.65 mark.

However, they have got me to try this sauce and it's top notch. Quite hot but not blow your socks off. A great every day hot sauce. Glad HUKD introduced this to me.

Also amazon package this in a snug cardboard box. So it could be a good Father's Day present.

A 'Hot sauce' for the complete amateur who probably thinks a Chicken Korma is spicy. Your real 'fire lovers' buy their stuff from specialist online shops

This is a real hot pepper sauce

    Great deal

Question for anyone who has used this, is it only a sauce for cooking, or is it nice to be used as a condiment / topping too? (edited)
    Zikohh's avatar
    Topping

I don't get the hype with this brand of sauce, had it recently in a pub and its has the consistency of water but spicy, there's much better out there.
    bozo007's avatar
Frank's is mostly vinegar based and many like that. (edited)

Jalapenos hot sauces can be nice. Won't blow your head off with the heat but too many hot sauces are just heat and sourness. Sometimes you want sauces with a nice flavour.

I tried the Buffalo Wing one and didn't think much of it.
    Seanspeed's avatar
That just means you dont like buffalo sauce in general, as it is basically *the* classic buffalo sauce. Though I always think getting the normal Franks is fine and you dont really need the 'Wing' sauce.
  12. fleabittenvarmint's avatar
Absolutely love this stuff. Heat. Pun intended.

Also £1.45 for just the one if unsure about flavour and so don't want to buy 2.....Frank's Fire Roasted Jalapeno, 135ml amzn.eu/d/4…NbK

That's the only hot sauce i will ever need, cheaper from supermarkets.

I like Crucials but it's a chilli sauce and not a hot sauce... and this is a totally different flavour profile

Just got mine, they sent Original and not the one ordered. So rubbish
    qweqwe1's avatar
They refunded without having to send back so a small win. I've ordered them again so you never know, might get free ones again if they mess up (edited)

Personally, I don't use this to cook with but as a topping or dip.
I don't think I would use it for cooking at all... probably end up using a whole bottle!

    Used as a topping

    Grabbed some, thanks
  23. qweqwe1's avatar
WIll give it a go. I have a few bottles of similar things that tend to sit around unused or 'once open use within 2 weeks' yeah right

Because loads of people will have ordered haha.
    I got mine yesterday
    lukins1's avatar
Did you actually get the right sauce?
  27. _Achilles_'s avatar
It's literally £1.45 in Asda and you're all faffing around on Amazon...
    joeymcjoe's avatar
Most people don’t shop at Asda
  28. joeymcjoe's avatar
    Mine just “arrived”

    Standard franks. Not happy.
    _Achilles_'s avatar
Asda sell it for £1.45... why order on Amazon?
  29. John_GM's avatar
Also got the original one. Amazon have said I can keep it so small win there. I’m thinking of ordering the wing version but is that more or less the same as the original?
  30. susanalbumparty's avatar
Ordered again after receiving the original version and the same thing happened again Plenty hot sauce now though!!!
    qweqwe1's avatar
That's so rubbish. Mine has just dispatched so we'll see if I get the same again
