Hey Guys;

I know this deal has been floating around for a short while now but personally I was unaware of this until just now and thought I'd post it here. Sadly there are no guest tickets available to go with your own. So, if you find yourself around both areas and want to go in, book your tickets for guaranteed entry. =)

**I know the T&C says it expires in February but the offer still says valid in the info until August 2023, as such, I assume they haven't updated the T&C.

Kew is offering free admission to Blue Light Holders (so long as you have a card (digital I imagine will be fine as right now, BLC are having issues with their printer)) if you book in advance using the code (afraid I can't publish due to T&C) found on BLC website as well as come with ID.
It looks like though, as of now that Kew Gardens as well as Wakehurst is offering the opportunity to gain them at the gate without having to book in advance (although, I would advise booking in advance just incase) as well as T&C.

Info For Kew Gardens:
Blue Light Card holders can benefit from complimentary admission to Kew Gardens for themselves only. Order your tickets online in advance from kew.org. You will need to enter the promotional code on the ticket type selection page in order to access the complimentary Health Care Worker Admission tickets. On the day of the visit, simply present your Blue Light Card alongside your tickets at the gate to gain entry. Free admission now also available on the gate for Blue Light Card holders only.

Wakehurst:

Blue Light Card holders can benefit from complimentary admission to Wakehurst. Order your complimentary tickets online in advance from kew.org/wak…rst, or simply present your Blue Light Card at the gate to gain entry.

T&C:

Kew Gardens:
Photo Identification must be provided on the day of visiting Kew Gardens. Tickets can be booked in advance online at kew.org using the promotional code. Walk up tickets are also now available at the gate for Blue Light Card holders only. The offer is valid for visits until 28.02.2023. Complimentary admission applies to the Blue Light Card Holder only. Blue Light Card must be presented at the gate on the day of visit, in order to validate the tickets and gain admission. Kindly note that while this ticket is valid for daytime entry to the Gardens, it is not valid for separately ticketed Kew events and festivals. Full guidance about visiting Kew Gardens during coronavirus can be found here: kew.org/kew…nce

Wakehurst:

Tickets can be booked in advance online at kew.org/wak…rst. Walk ups also allowed. The offer is valid for visits until 31.03.2024. Complimentary admission (inc. car parking) applies to the Blue Light Card holder only. Tickets are subject to limited availability. Blue Light Card must be presented at the gate on the day of visit, in order to validate the tickets and gain admission.

I had to call cause I couldn't find a promo but they said just come with the card and you can enter for free. No need to pre-book.

Obviously book the required tickets for events even if a card holder.

Great deal but why not make it a BLC family and friends code. It will be like let's all go to Kew Gardens by the way I'm free but y'all gotta pay lol (edited)

I'm not getting any promo codes with Kew Gardens on my bluelightcard app or Web login. What am I missing?

Wakehurst also looks to be free with National Trust membership but Kew isn't.

No code on Blight light Card or mention on their website. Could be a gamble going there.

I tweeted BLC last night about it and they said they’re having someone looking into where the deal went. Hopefully that means it comes back soon!

Deal for Kew free entry was taken off bluelight app when it expired in Feb and replaced with Wakehurst so don’t think Kew is still a freebie

Still works, just used it now.

Kew is part of the Visit Britain deal. £1.50 after the £20 discount. Codes are valid until 31st March but you can book for later in the year.

I wouldn’t publish that as BLC has issues with people publishing their codes as they pull them upon realising codes have been made public.

Could have made it 2 free tickets though.

Could have done but, to be fair, if you want to go as a couple, you basically only have to pay £5 for each ticket (the cost of the BLC). Sadly no kids tickets with this but still, not too bad and the BLC lasts for 2 years.
