Hello, everyone! Hoping we’re all doing well and are excited for the summer!
Now the weather has started perking up, I’ve been loving going for walks to my local park and reading in the sun after my workday. This means I’ve been getting through way more books than I usually do lately—which is a win for me, obviously, but it also means I need to find as many bargains as possible. So, I thought I’d share some of my best FREE Kindle finds this week here—in order of preference, as always!
Pieces of Me by Felicity Nicole
Now this one is a hidden gem, trust me. I have a feeling this book is going to become a very big deal very soon, so I think you’re going to want to take a look at this one ASAP. Thank me later.
Pieces of Me is a memoir primarily about one woman’s journey escaping from abuse and dysfunction. According to the blurb, she didn’t have the best of upbringings: she grew up around a lot of toxicity, and her family were pretty convinced from the get-go that she would amount to nothing. So, naturally, Felicity became quite hardened toward the world, and gravitated to people and relationships that weren’t the healthiest for her.
This culminated in one abusive relationship that seemed to form a “crossroads” moment for Felicity: stay or go? The devil you know, or a not-guaranteed chance at freedom and stability?
Felicity took her chance at the latter, and Pieces of Me apparently documents this journey. I’ve seen some press and reviews about this, and it’s described as being just as heart-wrenching and tender as it is dry and sarcastic, which is exactly the kind of narrative style that gets me reaching for the tissues. In a book that deals with lots of heavy topics, I think you need a healthy dose of humour—and if this author strikes this balance well, I imagine I’m going to fall in love with her and her work.
I’ve had a brief look into Felicity and her career since downloading this book, and she seems to be absolutely killing it, so I’m unbelievably excited to dive into her memoir and see how she has turned her life around so amazingly. I’m sure it won’t have been the easiest journey, but I’ll bet it was a pretty damn inspiring one.
Again: this is not one you’re going to want to miss. I have a very good gut feeling about it. And it’s free, free, free this week only!

Already Gone by Blake Pierce
Already Gone has an absolutely killer blurb (get it? Ha ha). It follows FBI Special Agent Laura Frost, who has—get this—psychic abilities. This means she often gets way more information than she actually wants about the criminals she is faced with—like, full-blown memories and premonitions of what the killer has done before and what they may or may not do next.
As you can imagine, this is pretty torturous for our MC, and in this book, she is on a mission to save the next victim she thinks is in line, while keeping her freaky psychic powers secret from everyone else.
Pretty crazy, right?

Summer in Sweetbriar Cove by Melody Grace
This is a two-in-one deal, folks! Yep: two super-cute standalone romances, both for free!
This collection features Meant To Be and All For You by Melody Grace, which are both set in the quaint, feelgood setting of a Cape Cod town. I have read All For You before, and lemme tell you, it is the light, fun romance you need if you’re looking for something easy and satisfying to read this summer.
In Meant To Be, we follow Poppy, who has just called off her wedding and is camping out at her aunt’s beach house while she tries to get her head straight… and it is there that she meets sexy neighbour Cooper! (Need I say more?)
In All For You, we have a rivals-to-lovers-type romance (and I loved it): pastry chef Summer Bloom is opening a new bakery in town, and bookstore owner Grayson Reid isn’t too happy about that. And I think you get the gist from there!

Run For Your Life by C. M. Sutter
You guys know I always have to have more than one thriller on here!
This book sounds cliched in the best possible way: we have a homicide detective whose friends and family mysteriously go missing, and it’s up to him to put his detective skills to the test and figure out what has happened. The thriller blueprint that works time and time again!
If you’re a thriller guy/gal, this one will probably be right up your street. Downloaded for free on Amazon: amazon.co.uk/dp/…DP6
Nora Roberts Land by Ava Miles
You already knew we had to finish this list with another romance!
Nora Roberts Land has a good mix of a cliched and an innovative premise: it’s technically the “fake dating” trope, but with a twist—the main character has just gone through a breakup due to her obsession with romance novels.
Yep, you read that right. Her ex blames the breakdown of their relationship on her expectations being too high. Sounds like she dodged a bullet to me.
Anyway, Meredith, our main character, heads back to the city and her parents’ small newspaper… but little does she know her ex is on a revenge mission: he has blackmailed his new recruit, Tanner, into seducing Meredith and then breaking her heart.
Savage.
Of course, Tanner and Meredith quickly realize they have a genuine connection… and the plot thickens from there.
