So I can adjust properly to measurement methods, am I correct that we now use bananas for scale, big blokes for weight capacity, and swimming pools for volume?

Yes, but my problem with imperial or even crazier measurements has always been "how do we convert from one to the other".

How much the water in a swimming pool weigh?

Easy in metric where a kilogram is based on a litre of water.

In Big Blokes? Well, now that is a tricky one.

A very tricky one. Even NASA and their sub-contractors with their experience from failure (hello Mars Climate Orbiter: en.wikipedia.org/wik…ter) could not calculate that one.

Or the tricker question of how many banana-force-seconds would be needed in big-blokes per second per second giving a swimming pool's worth of bananas.

How anything complex ever got done before the metric system is a mystery.

This is perfect for moving whisky barrel planters. I use this and a ratchet strap. Just In case it's helpful for someone. I can move those planters fully filled with soil and whatever is planted in them.
    Hot price!!
