Dropped in price recently, which could be a good time to grab one. I know the weather has turned, but usually it's a good time to buy this kind of thing. Good for next year

Ordered one of these for our huge pool we got this year. What chemical should I get to stop the water going murky? Just so it lasts a week or two, rather than being bad after a couple of days.

Chlorine and a good filter, you're supposed to check and alter ph level too but i never do, i just keep the chlorine around 5ppm (edited)

Got one too but it floats out of the water. What am I doing wrong?

Seems to require a sizeable pump to work, not the kind you get with a 10 foot pool.
