John Lewis are doing the same offers, so one of them possibly matching the other.
More likely to end up with the phone and two year guarantee with John Lewis (other than an equally weighted rock from Amazon (allegedly, from some reviews) so I’d buy from JL to be honest.

the only downside to them (JL) is they ship in a plastic bag with no bubble wrap. This leads to dents in phones box which hurts my feelings when I unbox new items 🥲 (edited)

I think it really depends on what you have currently. If an upgrade is absolutely needed then one should buy it.

If you don’t have a need for it, you can simply wait for another Iphone to come around
