Useless not a solid build doesn’t keep water out the winds ripped the lid off mine a few years ago and to the tip it went. I have those large Strata chests sold at Homebase with separate lids which are excellent as they keep everything dry.

If the wind ripped your lid off then it won’t be watertight.

You need the lid for that to happen.

Decent price - got one when k offer last and paid a couple of quid more. As been said, they need TLC.

    Tips;

    1. Don't let your kids kick a football against it....it will crack

    2. Don't let said kids friend sit on the box as they think it's a spare seat. It will collapse

    3. Fasten the lid down......when it's windy, it will blow open and ping off

    4. Don't put heavyish items inside, like a 5ltr bottle of screen wash.....as this will cause the box to unclick when you move it

Other than that, they are quite decent for chucking stuff in. Current use ours for wellies, footys and dog stuff. (edited)

Pic to show the inside incase anyone wondering how big they are. Obviously I'm still living life on the edge risking having 2 x bottles of screenwash in it

Keter are one of the best companies I have ever dealt with when it comes to after-sales service.

I have a Keter collapsible work bench (very much recommend them) and one of the slide in clamps snapped about 4 years after I bought it. I couldn't find spares in the UK so contacted them so I could buy some more - they refused any payment at all (it is obviously well out of warranty) and said they would send me new clamps. The next day they contacted me to say they were very sorry, but they were out of stock - but they would instead send me all of the new types of claps that had come out since I bought it and also send me the original ones once they were back in stock... Absolutely amazed by the service.

I relayed this story to a friend who had bought a returned-stock auction Keter shed that was missing some critical parts. This was 2 odd years after I had contacted them. Sure enough they were equally as amiable with my friend and sent her the parts she needed for free no questions asked.

In short - Keter may produce plastic stuff that can sometimes snap. But dang do they stand by their products and support their custoemrs.

Keter have been the worst. I’ve been waiting over 2 years for a replacement part. They keep losing the paperwork and I have to start the process anew. From the comments on this deal however, it seems I’m the outlier. (edited)

These are cheap and flimsy, would collapse in an instant if you sat on it.

But I LOVE mine. I have it outside the front door, weighed down by a car battery. It is great to have a box to put parcels and stuff in so that friends and delivery people don't have to ring the bell when they are collecting stuff.

    Heat!

Great price, had mine for a few years now and it’s great.

Sat outside, it keeps everything dry and uv light doesn’t appear to diminish it either.

Just dont pack it full of heavy stuff that might open the holding clips. (edited)

Mines been good. They aren't designed to be moved once assembled. I've got one in the front garden to keep the recyling bags in. I did attach 2 pieces of string to the lid and the frame, to stop it opening more than 90°. The lid blew off in heavy winds once, and yep it did snap some plastic. Still works and looks decent with my plants around it.
