Was 80p last week at Sainsbury's, so a further reduction. Price moving in the right direction.

Always wondered how u milk a coconut.. Where's the teat?

No teat. So you do what you typically do when you cant milk something, you cut it out and grind it.

I find it's generally better value to buy creamed coconut and use less / water it down to milk consistency if needed.

I've been using the creamed coconut blocks for a while, but whenever I want to make a coconut frosting for cupcakes, I always reach for a tin. Put the tin in the fridge for a couple of days and then scoop off the delicious coconut fat from the top half and beat that with icing sugar for a glorious frosting.

I can't seem to get it right when using the block. Not sure what I'm doing wrong

I recently bought some coconut milk to make a Thai green curry. Picked the standard stuff from Lidl. Was like water and full of random stuff... Plus only had 24% extract but tasted ok. Then bought some from Sainsburys which was higher coconut extract but tasted weird. Like didn't have the nice sweetness in the curry. Who would have thought there would be soo many variations. Anyone made a Thai green curry with the KTC one before? Is it good?
