We had Laila Basmati rice for the first time the other day, they're fantastic. We've had other brands of Pakistani rice before but not these. Was a bit suspect at first given the lower price but I honestly couldn't tell the difference. Do bear in mind, we eat a lot of rice in our house. Now a family member did comment and say that a lot of the rice is grown by the same farmers and so the variance is likely to be minimal and I agree with this theory. It's the same stuff just branded differently. (edited)

Hot from me - quite disappointed not more comments - rice threads usually give me a right 🦒! Usually one person thinks it has stones in it & will only use another one, then someone else wouldn't use that one if you paid them & drops in their family geography/ethnicity to prove they know their rice & it goes from there!
