If you're not at home when your delivery arrives, your driver will try to reach you by phone. If they can't get hold of you, they'll leave a card letting you know what time they arrived, and asking you to contact us on 0345 322 0000 or the number provided on the card. Always make sure you call us straight away.
NOTE: If you do miss a delivery, we can't guarantee that the driver will be able to return with your order on the same day.

Yes you can. We actually recommend that you book your slot before placing your order – it helps to avoid disappointment.
Remember though, a reserved delivery slot expires after 60 minutes if you haven't checked out. If your chosen delivery slot expires, you will need to reserve the slot again, or possibly book a new one.

Hob - From Ambient. For the perfect rice
It's as easy as
- (1) To make perfect rice start with a ratio of 1 cup rinsed rice 4 cups of water.
- (2) Bring the water to the boil and add the rice.
- (3) Stir and bring back to the boil, keeping uncovered. Reduce to a rolling simmer for approx. 8-10 minutes or until rice is tender.
- (4) Drain water, cover & leave to stand for 3 minutes.
- (5) Lightly fork through the grains and serve.

sorted byBetween brands can be a bigger difference. Each brand is aiming at different market segment by purchasing different quality of rice. Between the best and the worst is a notable difference but in the middle it gets a little fuzzy. If you need to ask then it is possible you will not notice the difference
The greatest difference is the cooking. The right amount of water. Quality cuts of lamb for biriani. My choice is shoulder and keeping some of the fat. And the spices. No over salting. And slightly fried onions on top. (edited)
