Currently in mine now (nice mental image for you all) costs less than you'd think you know to run! Certainly less than night out nowadays. costs just a couple of quid to fill it from the hot water tap to around 40 degrees, about 15-20 quid to keep it there for the weekend, that's on a prepayment energy tariff as well. Keeps the family happy in an age where even a kid's meal at a restaurant can cost far more than running the tub for a weekend. Cheers

Prefer the seasonal option with an inflatable tub rather than a permanent fixture.

Had the Vegas before this one but wanted WiFi functionality. This one is better made and has airjets in the middle.

    Marvellous tub for the money.
50133582_1.jpgSynced WiFi schedules to heat with spare solar.

50133582_1.jpgIn credit £6.50 this week after export too. Even with the dismal weather. 🌦️

Makes a big difference having the lazyspa thermal cover over it too. Retains heat longer and heats up quicker. Also got 50mm high performance insulation under it. (edited)

What did you set up cost? What RTE are you seeing annually. Would be interesting to assess as the battery and panels degrade.

Major props for the green credentials though.

I owned one of these up until recently
And be aware it’s a lot of work keeping it in a good clean condition
you will need to empty it within a few days to avoid any algae
and that’s even with the cover on and all the bleaching chemicals that I also purchased to keep it fresh..
At one point I had a huge larvae of frogs born settled in the tub ! Nature is drawn to these must think it’s a pond!
Mine also would leak air from the seams which inevitably got larger and made it impossible to hold the repair for more than a few uses..
Personally I would never buy another one of these disposable inflatable hot tubs..

Don't use solar pv panels to run a hottub. Highly inefficient.

I kept mine at 38-41C between may and September last year with just 2x 4x4' boxes with black hose and a 18w pump. Total cost was like £50

Hottub was free for us all those months

My neighbour couldn’t give his Lay-Z Spa away!! It cost about £40 a week to heat BEFORE the price rises!! Solar covers work well though…

Used a wood fired hot tub that heats in roughly 2 hrs. Long as you're not on a water meter this is a great option following initial outlay. Plus cleaning the wooden one is easy. Only downside is outlay and only two seater

I would love to try set up a hot tub for aches and pains and relaxing. Would would be the essential box of kit please? (Tub recommends, base, cover.... What is this miricke heat exchange thing?) I can do IKEA furniture level of set up but need clear instructions even if that's the Amazon kit I need to buy until I'm more competent. Any help from those that know is appreciated
