~ Welcome to Learn Ukrainian ~
This booklet summarizes the basic grammar rules and sentence structure of Ukrainian, thus giving you the information you need to build Ukrainian sentences from scratch.
The information provided in the booklet is also a useful supplement to exercise-based language learning, so I recommend using it in conjunction with one of the interactive language learning websites that are freely available these days.
Table of Contents
If you are curious about how Ukrainian works, this booklet is a good place to start, as it gives you a concise explanation of Ukrainian grammar.
For those who will become fluent Ukrainian speakers, I recommend reading this booklet to get a rough idea how the language is constructed, and then spending the majority of your study time with an interactive language learning app.
Good luck, and happy learning!

Some words are similar to Polish or the same and it shares a lot of similarities with Belarusian. Russian is more similar to Bulgarian.

What you are looking for is language learning that builds on the Scientifically proven/known modes of Focused Mode and Diffuse mode. One of the best ways enable these modes is via Pomodoro technique, and this works for any learning. For 25 minutes you focus on learning, then you have a break for 5 minutes and it must be doing any activity that doesn't involve focusing, so no social media. Mediation for example. Once you have done 3 or 4 rounds of 25/5 you then get a 15 minute break. Usually 3 - 4 hours a day will be enough.
I started learning Russian in 2004. The first thing to do is to learn the Cyrillic alphabet, it is very easy, should take a few days to a week. Once you can read the language it really opens up and you get a feel for the sounds that aren't in English.
Even though Ukrainian and Russian use Cyrillic alphabet here is the difference >
Both Ukrainian and Russian use the 33-letter Cyrillic alphabet, but there are four letters in Ukrainian missing from Russian, and four letters in Russian missing from Ukrainian. Read below to see which they are as this forum doesn't allow Cyrillic letters so I can't post the differences >

Very IMPORTANT when learning Ukrainian and speaking to Ukrainian people you MUST NOT ever call Ukraine > "The Ukraine". I see this mistake often and by Sky News military experts such as Vice Admiral Sean Bell who should know better. Please read the following to understand why >
