I have 16 of these in two receptions.

They're good, but only enough for an ensuite or a small area. If you have a bigger area, you need more than one.

Also note that these are 5000 k, so their colour temperature is slightly below daylight (6500 k). The lower this number, the more yellowish the light is, and the higher the number, the more bright-white it is. If you prefer warm, yellowish light, these are not for you. If you prefer bright white, though, they're really good. They could be a bit whiter, but they're good enough. (edited)

Confused. Description says they are equivalent to a 100W filament bulb, but you say they are only good enough for a small area?! You have 16 split between 2 reception room?

For £9 more you can get the Colour version, (which I have in the Bathroom), you can dim this one and change the colour to pretty much anything you want (Ie a Warmer White), plus it works with Alexa

might be useful to know for anyone, that these rgb ones can also be flashed with tasmota or esphome to integrate to local control via HomeAssistant.

Have one of this, too bright but works well.

Got these in our rental properties.....they go yellow pretty quickly.

Ok for tenants but wouldn't have them in my own house.

Have this in bathroom and ensuite. It works really well, but beware there is next to no room for any additional cabling as part of your light circuit. I ended up moving the old ceiling rose connector into the attic and passing through a single cable for live and neutral. (edited)

actually putting the ceiling rose into the attic is a standard way to go when your fitting a specialty lamp.

just annoying when the moths/flies/wasps get inside them and die.

Any deals for something similarly priced and lumens but with a lower warm temp.

I don't want to get my sleep ruined because I had to whizz at night

I've had this light in my bathroom for about 3 years. I also bought some in February this year for my parents bathroom and cupboard under the stairs. Very bright and happy with them.
Fitting was a pain. Almost no room to pull out the tabs on each side. A few swear words of encouragement and it's sorted. (edited)
