sorted byI end up stocking up in the US where you can still get these for under $40. I get them delivered to friends and pick them up whenever there is a visit. I do believe that the quality of those sold there is better, with a thicker fabric. (edited)
I'm going to sound like a cracked record but here I go again
501 is a cut or style if you prefer. It does not refer to the material or thickness of it.
You can get stretchy material, thin material or original thick material, they can all be genuine Levi’s products.. If you want the thick ones chose Selvedge 501’s, but unless you have a huge bank balance or wish to spit your cup of tea at your screen don’t even look. The price has been known to cause heart issues.
