There are medications that can reduce your craving for alcohol. Some of these are Naltrexone, nalmefene and Acamprosate. If you want to grind your way out of alcoholism you could try Disulfiram which makes you feel very ill if you consume any alcohol.

Alcohol has no known health benefits at any dosage, it is one of the most commonly accepted hard drugs in our society and has the highest death rate. I rate Alcohol has the single most dangerous drug in the wrong hands. If you're susceptible to Alcoholism then it's an extremely dangerous drug with maximum supreme hell withdrawals unlike anything else if you become dependent. It is a drug that will kill you if you become dependent because if you stop your body has adapted to the alcohol and down regulated receptors in the brain that prevent your brain from becoming overstimulated. If you then withdraw from alcohol dependency you will have life threatening seizures and mental anguish from the absolute depths of hell.

Quitting alcohol is difficult enough but in a society where this is a socially acceptable drug, you will be offered alcohol time after time by good friends, and relatives even if you tell them you have a major problem with alcohol. It simply won't register to them that you have a problem. You will see people enjoying alcohol and you will time after time have to battle against those thoughts of I'll just have one drink I haven't drunk for months, it'll be fine. Then it begins again. If you do finally stop you start to realise that so many people you know need a drink, they are probably nowhere near dependent but alcohol plays an intrinsic part in their daily lives.

My tips are continued life long support and reinforce in your nature that alcohol has zero benefit for you or anybody and the fact that you resist it everyday is an absolute super power in the modern world. So my tip is do absolutely everything you can to never drink alcohol again because it has no health or mental benefits whatsoever. It is a poison, it increases your risk of various Cancers and other serious health problems. The last tip is stopping alcohol has to be your choice and if and when you do stop you will be viewed like a Vegan as weird. Whatever you do don't try and make other people stop, don't tell them you have stopped unless you need to. Don't preach about it just be responsible for yourself, that's all you need to do.
