    So I rang and spoke to them in detail when this first got posted. These were both returned items which were reduced for that reason, and there was only one of each, they weren’t on the shelf items.

    Ring your local and quote the stock code - you never know...

    I paid a similar price for my M1 Max last September based on a post on here (from JL) so these older M1 high end models do get sold off at these sort of prices now...

    Nearest equivalent is the M2 8GB air at £829 Inc vat.
