The 2nd Generation of the multi award-winning Mu-so, evolves the iconic styling of its predecessor. Under the luxury aluminium casing are game-changing upgrades to the performance, features, and functionality. From high-resolution streaming to multi-room music to TV sound - you’ve never heard it so good from an all-in-one wireless system.

At the heart of Mu-so 2nd Generation, is Naim’s music-streaming platform, developed by 25 engineers over 3 years to offer the very best performance, whether playing your own digital music collection, a world of Internet radio, or music streaming services such as TIDAL and Spotify. This acclaimed innovation is uniquely found in Naim music-streaming products, such as the Uniti range and dedicated network players, including the £20,000 flagship ND 555.

Continuing its high-performance credentials, Mu-so 2nd Generation’s 450 Watts of music power are joined by all-new speaker drivers - optimised in conjunction with Focal, the acoustic specialist celebrating its 40th anniversary, and Naim’s Vervent Audio associate; more than 10 times more processing power for even greater musical accuracy, and a re-engineered cabinet design to further enhance bass delivery.

Stream music in high-resolution quality (up to 32bit/384kHz) via UPnP, or browse millions of songs through AirPlay2 (including Apple Music), Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Chromecast built-in and Internet radio. Upgraded Wi-Fi connectivity promises a slicker streaming experience, while Ethernet remains an option if you prefer things hard-wired. You can also connect devices wirelessly via Bluetooth. Mu-so 2nd Generation’s USB input, meanwhile, supports music playback from USB drives. Other Mu-so 2nd Generation enhancements include the addition of HDMI ARC, so you can easily connect your TV and experience audiophile sound quality from your favourite television programmes, films, and games.

They’ll deliver to Northern Ireland now too. I messaged them about it as the main Peter Tyson website delivers to NI so I’m guessing it was a mistake ? You’ll pay a little bit extra on delivery but worth it I think. Got my order in.

Great deal. I had the Mk1 version of this player and was really impressed. The Mk2 is substantially better from a connectivity and networking point of view. Good seller as well.

I had gen one, it's ok for an all in one solution, but it isn't worth the money. Honestly I thought two Homepods in Stereo sounded a lot better, also my £350 ELAC UB5's also did, but they require an amp.... Still cheaper though.

The best thing about it was just the radio function, but the Airplay feature sucked on it like all Airplay speakers do including Apple's, they have too much latency for real time time.
