Cut through the myths and misinformation on marijuana, and get straight to the facts.Marijuana – what was once seen as a taboo substance is now becoming increasingly accepted. In fact, it's the most commonly used illicit drug in the world… but how much do you really know about this frequently criticized substance?

With the ongoing controversy surrounding medical marijuana and its legalization, it's no wonder that myths and misinformation about the drug have multiplied.

And if you’re tired of hearing conflicting information about marijuana use and want to separate fact from fiction, then look no further.

Filled with historical, scientific, and medical information in easy-to-understand language, this guidebook takes an unbiased deep dive into the world of marijuana.

From its early uses in ancient civilizations to its modern medical applications, you'll get a thorough grasp of cannabis and its effects on the body, mind, and society at large.

In this book, here’s a fraction of what you’ll discover:

  • Myth-busting, research-based facts on one of the world's oldest drugs (minus the fear-mongering and political agenda)
  • A fascinating overview of marijuana, from its simple beginnings as a medicinal plant to modern-day legalization debates
  • An honest look at both the potential harms as well as benefits of cannabis
  • The psychosocial effects and consequences of long-term marijuana use
  • An in-depth look at the far-reaching impact of cannabis – finally understand how it really affects the major organs of the body
  • Valuable insights on the changing societal opinions on marijuana use over time
  • A transparent and frank reflection on the limitations of current research
  • The dramatic impact of marijuana use during critical periods of brain development – and how it can affect IQ and other cognitive abilities
  • A balanced consideration of the risks and rewards of using marijuana for pain management
And much more.

Is marijuana really as insidious as many make it out to be? Could it simply be an innocent pleasure, a bit of fun, or a way to help unwind at the end of a long day? Or might there be medicinal value that not even the strongest detractors can deny?

It's important to search for answers, but even more important is where you get your information from.

Whether you're a parent concerned about your teen’s use, someone considering medical marijuana as a treatment option, or a user with questions about its effects on your health, this book offers the most current and objective information you need to be informed on the ongoing marijuana debate.

I had to stop, 25+ year love affair with Mary Jane, in the end, the drawbacks became greater than the benefits personally. I used to love it, grew it, smoked it, ate it, vaped it, even took it on holiday with me, couldn't bear to be without it. So many wasted years in a cloudy haze. Did have some good times, maybe we'll meet again one day , but not today .....

Absolutely. Got to the point I just got paranoid every time I blazed after a bad acid trip once, and so it became an easy vice to get rid of.  There are many drawbacks. I don’t want my “draw back”!

An acquaintance who lives in Australia reversed and healed severe leukaemia with cannabis treatment 12 years ago. He had to travel abroad anddo all the treatments incognito for the legal reasons. He enjoys a healthier everlife since then. (edited)

Its US related and doesn't really help in the UK.

Our government are controlling it by how much money they make.. and not how much money the country could make by making it legal like america

I think it affects short term memory, unless I'm being paranoid. Yea, definitely paranoid.
