About Metro 2033 Redux
Metro 2033 Redux is the definitive version of the cult classic Metro 2033 — a thrilling FPS adventure through an apocalyptic Russia, where a war has left humanity living underground in the Metro.

When It Happened
In 2013, a horrible war broke out that ended in the devastation of our planet and the annihilation of nearly the entirety of humanity. Now, what we once knew as a healthy and beautiful green Earth is now a poisonous wasteland, crawling with danger. Humanity is now plunged into a new Dark Age.

And Now...
It's been 20 years since the bombs destroyed everything, and an entire generation was born and raised underground. Life has been difficult between the poisonous new world, mutated beasts, and even a civil war. You take the role of Atryom, who was born before the new Dark Age but raised underground.

After a fateful event sparks a desperate mission, you'll need to strap on your gasmask, grab your hand-made weapons, and venture off into the apocalyptic Russian landscape.

Better Than Ever
Whether you're a fan or a newcomer, you'll find upgraded graphics in the Metro 2033 Redux, as the game has been rebuilt and now offers even better graphics, with incredible lighting, physics, and dynamic weather effects.

In addition to the graphic rehaul, the gameplay has been improved, and features from the acclaimed Metro: Last Light have been transferred into Metro 2033 Redux, including superior AI, controls, animation, weapon handling, and much more!

Choose Your Style
Two new playstyles and the new Legendary Ranger Mide have been included to offer a challenge to those looking for one. Whether you want a slow-burn survival horror in Spartan Mode or to tackle the game with the combat skills of a true ranger in Survival Mode, you'll find the right amount of challenge. But are you up to the Ranger Mode challenge? No HUD or UI, and deadlier enemies with fewer resources... it's the most hardcore mode you can get.

About Metro: Last Light Redux
This post-apocalyptic survival horror title takes place a year after the events of the acclaimed title Metro 2033. Moscow has been absolutely devastated, there are mutants roaming above the metro, and you — as the protagonist Artyom — hold the key to everyone's survival.

Utter Destruction
The remainder of humanity is huddled inside the tunnels of the metro. It's not the best of conditions, but it's safe. Above them lays a city in waste — Moscow is barely recognizable anymore. You take the role of Artyom once again as you watch more of his story unfold.

Brave the New World
Grab your gasmask and weapons, then head out to the haunting sight of broken Moscow. In this wasteland, you'll find enemies of all types — deadly mutants, selfish humans, and the inhospitable, vile environment left of the city.

Three Modes
Metro: Last Light Redux can be played in three modes — Survival, Spartan, or the feared Ranger. If you want a slow-born horror experience, Survival is the way to go, but if you're more interested in tackling in an all-out combat style, you can choose Spartan. And if those two options don't smite you with enough fear, you can tackle the terrifying Ranger mode, which has no HUD or UI and offers a much more deadly experience: limited resources and deadlier combat.

DLC
This version includes all previously released DLC, meaning it has 10 hours of bonus single-player content added to the already huge campaign. Those that are returning to the game will also notice new features and gameplay improvements, such as new melee animations, the ability to check your watch and ammo supplies, and more!

Played 2033 a year ago and finally on Last Light. So far it's a better game and a lot more streamlined with a bit more emphasis on stealth. Also played full 60fps and nearly high everything on Steam Deck. A steal at this price.

Great series these, if you haven't tried and you fancy a decent FPS you'd be mad to not try these and also the STALKER series which are older but have immense customisation by the fan community.
