just fyi this thing is an ewaste horrible POS, although you can probably upgrade the stupid SSD it's not worth it because the 4GB RAM is non-upgradeable.

4GB of ram and 64GB eMMC. If they were giving these away for free the amount of pain they would cause me to use would mean I wouldn't take it. (edited)

I think you'll be happy with this for free or for up to £100. It is still an OK device. But not for £250.

4gb of ram and 64gb of storage? No thanks!

I have a surface Pro 7 i5 same generation as this with 8GB of ram and that is currently struggling with day to day work multitasking but I am running a couple of external screens on it.

I think you would be better off getting an ex-business Dell Lattitude i5, HP etc with expandable RAM, Storage and replacable battery. (edited)

Hi, to be honest it's hard to recommend with 4GB of RAM. May be ok if it's just for web browsing and Office use.

Buy a tab instead of wasting money on this spec

as other mention 4GB 64GB eMMC very limited what you can do
MS word and Photo viewer and Chrome This it
The biggest issue will be 64GB eMMC as windows it self takes 20-30 GB so you left with very little space
Do understand the price but then add another £100 and you will have proper laptop
Always buy what you need for your work never buy price or offers

Better save money and buy product that will work to you --- instead you will be adapting to product

4GB isn't really enough these days for Windows unfortunately.
