    Good boots, apart from the Vibram Outersole. Hate them in wet conditions, definitely not good for grip. (edited)

    They're more hiking shoes designed for wild /rocky terrains, but that being said I have a friend who's using them as his day-to-day footwear and is very happy with them.

    Regarding walking in the rain - yes, these have Gore-Tex membrane which is waterproof and should deal with partial submerging in water, so rain would be no problem for these.

    quality brand, ive had some of their gortex boots 10+ years must have walked over 1000 miles in them and still comfortable and strong no issues (edited)

    A really good quality brand .
    Did pick up 2 X the trovat t shirts in the sale . Really well made hard wearing t shirts .

    Great brand, with quality gear. Had a gore tex pair of walking boots that have lasted 6 years, sadly the tread is wearing out now. (edited)
