How long do they last in these tetra packs? I know cans last for years
The acidity in the tomatoes means they don't keep as well as other foodstuffs. It doesn't get on too well with the inside lining. This applies to tins too. Corned beef and a few other choice things keep yonks in tins. Literally scores of years, tomato / peaches some other things not so much. There's loads of videos on YouTube advising on foodstuffs that can be stockpiled, just in case of well, erm 'societal collapse'
I’ve been using this in curries instead of tomatoes and it creates a much better curry. 6 for a pound is a steal. Voted hot.
This is a crazy deal - the mailshot said they were doing 4 for £1, wife went in and they were doing 5 for £1 now as it gets closer to August the deal is getting bigger. We picked up 25 cartons.
Its a BBE, so these will be good for months!!
Stock up peeps
buy now or wait till its 7 for a £1?
Yip, bought on 6 for £1 a few days ago, great timing as I'd ran out of my last load when they were on offer
Bought this morning in Ayr, bargain
6 for £1. Short dated End of August 2023 but could be of help for someone. Several cartons available.
Also plenty of eggs. I know they're from caged hens,
Having got rid of the August batch, they are now restocking with end September dates. And also February 2024 dates but these are stickers covering Sep 2023 dates. Main thing is they go through the till at 6 for a pound. Fill yer boots...............................
