both it as described, got now tv with 3 month entertainment pass, plus 3x3 months gift cards for entertainment, and on top 6x2 months gift cards for movies pass.
we still can use 14 days trials on now tv as new users and it up to us to use passes one by one so spread it to 2 years or use entertainment and movies together.

p.s. my first post, so sorry if I did something wrong or miss something

    No it isn't illegal ffs!

It isn't illegal to watch any streaming media on the internet - what is illegal is broadcasting the material for people to watch. Get your facts straight!

Can you get sky movies/entertainment for £55 a year? That's under a fiver a month!

    Edit: changed your mind now!

Buy an Amazon Fire stick for £35, install kodi and a couple of the add ons and you have all the movies and tv shows you could want for free. Once you get used to Kodi you'll never go back to NowTV

For anyone looking for this deal instore

Currys have an offer advertised at the cashdesks where you can buy a 2 month movie pass or 3 month entertainment pass for £5 when you spend £50 instore, the now tv box with 3 mth entertainment is on a wbw deal for a tenner, what this store are doing are playing the system and putting everything through at the wbw prices, that is why its not advertised anywhere or online

TO ALL ASKING IF IT'S NATIONWIDE

I went to my local currys (St Helens), didn't see this deal anywhere but showed this thread to one of the employees who told me as soon as he read the title "yeah, we do have it"
Picked an entertainment box and 3 more entertainment vouchers, also 6 movie vouchers. He had to run them through the computer one by one and had to apply the promotion to each one but in the end it came to £55 in total.
So it may be nationwide, but if you don't see it in your local, ask an employee.
He applied a promotion through their computer to all these vouchers.

What they did have on display was 12 months movies + box for £35.

    Hope this helps!.

But it's completely illegal. And not recommended for noobs as the reliability of content sources/add-ons can dramatically change over time. If one server closes down then they're stuck.

     err its totally illegal lol

Err, actually it's totally legal in the EU. This was confirmed by the European Court of Justice in 2014. There are tons of reports on this, for example :

Don't just repeat what you hear.

You get access to fewer channels than the full entertainment pack, but you can watch live or get the same catch up and box set selection as you would on sky, reduced channel selection provided for.
All the main stuff is there imo.

White (original) boxes are wifi only (I say original, because there were some themed cases colours and decorations). Black boxes have both wifi and wired ethernet.

Thanks, up and running on my white Now TV box and running great. A little slow when changing menus but this is because the white box is a lot slower than the black one.

I have Sky downstairs, but am so glad I can now watch Dave upstairs on my spare telly. Have an aerial but it can only receive very few Freeview channels.

The FilmOn logo in the top right is a little large for my liking, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I've got iptv for sports. That's perfect. Got a plex server account too. Also share a Netflix account. So generally covered but if I can do a deal for now tv then bonus. Do I really need it, probably not lol but this is hukd. Where you buy stuff you don't need. (_;)

Not on display and asked at desk, she checked online no joy . Said potentially local deal only as they have done something similar in the past. Apparently they have local NOWTV reps and they do promotions on store.

Saying that, I can understand them not wanting the advertising bypassed. Could be they are just not ready for streaming boxes - they need to present ads before you stream and have never bothered to think it through. And no doubt Roku's Ts&Cs may have been broken since they cover everything imaginable.Anyway preecey you've demo'd the proof of concept and put the ball in TVplayer's court, there's no cost or tech reason for not allowing the Roku, but they want to be the dog in the manger for the time being.

Hi guys, just been in store and done this, hopefully this helps as it's … Hi guys, just been in store and done this, hopefully this helps as it's far from straight forward... it's not a promoted deal at all, more of a glitch! It's not a case of it not being available in some branches... you just need to take the items to the til yourself and tell the operator what to do, as they won't know about it! Basically take the below to a till... 1 x now tv box with 3 months entertainment pass included (orange box) 3 x £15 entertainment passes (3 months each) 6 x £15 sky movies passes (2 months each) Note, the colour of the cards can vary, so go on the price and type (movies etc) At the till say "my friend said this all comes in on a special offer. He said after you can each one there is customer offer that takes the cards down to £5 each, then the box down to £10".Whoever is on the checkout will then have to try various offers on the cards and box but should eventually get it for £55. It might take 5 mins so expect some grumpy looks from those in the queue behind, but who cares I've just got a years worth of sky tv for much less than I was paying a month! Thanks op!

To bring this thread back to its point

Just followed dwattsy21's advice and got a set!! Well chuffed.
You tell them your fried saw it in Trafford advertised and got a set and show them a picture of you need a convincer. Say the member of staff told him that you have to add the offer for each item and it all discounts down. He said he knew a way to get it down and started to process it. Confirmed though it's more of a glitch and they shouldn't do it. Don't think it will be long before a HO email goes out telling them to stop.

I did say to him I bet this will boost your NOWTV sales for the day. I am guessing they are monitored on it.

Be prepared it's a slow process and people in the queue and the staff member may start to get frustrated lol

    Good luck !!

You can watch it in real time, you don't get as many channels but you get the same content on the ones you do. All box sets etc are still available. The only thing is you can pause/record.

I've just cancelled sky and moved fully to NowTV can get entertainment and movies for about £11 a month (go through options online to leave and they offer for cheaper per month).

Shows are either live or when you want.

Works for me as the only channels we watch are the ones offered on the entertainment package and I rarely watch live TV anyway.

Now saving myself £32 per month, probably more through offers like this for NowTV.
