I'm 15 stone, had mine over a year and use it almost everyday chilling in the garden for the last few months. Previous to that it was camping in the woods every other weekend basically. The chair performed amazing. Pretty lightweight for carrying and nothing broken as yet. Never use the base sheet either. Pretty good buy in my opinion

Seems to be the same as the Aldi one.

There are others similar about too, but without the support base.
    Aldi one was £15. (edited)

Like the look of it, but it should be a criminal offence to advertise something as ultra lightweight but then not say how much it actually weighs. Go outdoors I mean.

Looks like it’s printed on the bag, but the resolution on the pic isn’t enough for the numbers to be legible; can just make out “product weight” on the first line on the right-hand side

I bought, what I’m pretty sure is identical to this from Costco last year. I took it back fairly soon after.
For hiking trips where you have to carry everything, they are amazingly light, like a feather on a diet.
For my needs, day to day at a nearby beach, it was too wobbly. I use the traditional steel folding chairs but obviously they are heavy.
I’d try one first to see what you think. If you’re a bit weighty, they may not be stable enough for you.

Sounds like this OEX one used to be lighter too NewForest (edited)

These sorts of chairs are unrivalled for pack size and weight, but I find them very uncomfortable to the point of not being usable. I don’t like the way they apply pressure to he sides of the hips.
