Nearly £50 for a daypack with no chest strap or waist strap, basically something to carry some schoolbooks in. Absurdly expensive, you're paying for the brand, and when you look at the price tracker this is the normal price which is jacked up occasionally so that a big discount can be claimed....

Osprey bags are good quality in my experience.
We backpacked round the world for 18 months with Osprey bags and they didn’t skip a beat.
I bought this arcane for work and am happy with it. It’s not as big as I thought, but plenty of room for a laptop and some work gear.
Also, this may not be relevant, but one of straps has a quick release that means you can anchor it around a table leg etc if you’re out and about. As I say, not relevant to most, but as this is replacing a backpack that was stolen by someone just picking it up from under our table at the bar- it’s a useful feature!

My daughter has the XL version for school stuff and it's been brilliant. Bags are normally toast by half way through the year but this one is still looking decent and Osprey support their stuff. Recommended purchase!

Thanks OP. Just ordered one. Going away at the end of May and this will be useful for carrying my tech stuff, and a few daily essentials when I'm out and about. Will be good for days in the office too.

I've bought a couple of backpacks over the years, and have been disappointed is some way with every one. I'm hoping its a case of "you get what you pay for" (unless it's a Knomo bag - they are truly awful for the price) and have better hopes for this Osprey brand. I like the fact that it has a suspended laptop pocket, so should be good for added protection.

Ordered as I tried to get the same bag from Sportspursit. Looks good for a work bag. Elitebook, charger etc.
Estimated delivery is 5-8th of May. Strange for Prime

Picked this up the other day as a work bag, seems perfect for my needs, not to big or small, good aesthetics and the usual osprey quality. Water bottle holder is also excellent

Have owned this in green for a few years. It's a great backpack, really good quality, as you'd expect from Osprey. Shame there's no removable chest strap, but otherwise no complaints. Particularly love features such as the hidden water bottle holder, mesh card holder on one strap and quick-release clip on the other to attach the bag to a chair/table/rail for security.

not easy to find but it seems this is only 10L

On the Osprey website it lists the Arcane Large as being a 20L bag.

I have multiple Osprey bags. Great quality. I'm sure this will fit the bill for those in need of a bag this size.
