Why would anyone need this when you have an iPhone 14? Strange people still want a camera these days

Why would you buy an iPhone 14 when there are many Android alternatives with far better cameras?

Don't actually answer that - we know 'the crowd' helped you choose it.

How does this camera compare to the olympus em5 m3 deal posted at a similar price? Thx

Larger, almost exactly same sensor with same MP DR and IQ, similar IBIS (very good), can use same lenses w/o much trouble but Pana lenses preferred due to DFD AF mode, worse AF-C due to lack of PDA, better ergonomics and more rugged and professional quality body, less computational photography (no live composite, hand held high resolution)
If you are going to pay same money, I would go for EM5 MIII but certainly can find better deals for G9
PS I have a G9 and paid 3 years ago second hand £540

Above all garbage. I'm sticking to my VHS camcorder!

The G9, with its small sensor, is a real weighty brick of a body compared with many full frame cameras, can't imagine anyone buying this now, especially with its dated AF, poor low light performance and price.

Personally I'd go for a second hand one or even second hand s5

s5 can have lack of auto focus for fast moving objects . but its really amazing for portraits .

Decent camera when it came out almost 6 years ago, but AF etc has moved a long way in that time!

Long time panny user for work (currently using an S5) The lens is worth £400 (never paid the £799RRP) , not sure i'd be buying this camera, much better for the money.
GH5 with this lens probably better and cheaper (edited)

I got the Gh5 mk2 with the Leica 12-60 on deal at Christmas and this one. The 12-35 is now on the Gh5 and the 12-60 Leica is on the g9. (edited)
