It’s a very good stand I have one but also expensive. If you fix a lot of bikes and use it regularly then worthwhile but if it just for occasional use of your own bike a cheaper one would probably suffice 🤪

Great price! I was contemplating one of these a couple of years ago to replace one of the £20 Aldi/Lidl specials. I ended up going with one of these Wiggle/CRC Lifeline Home Mechanic workstands which I managed to get for £42 back in 2021. Unfortunately with all the recent changes at Wiggle/CRC I don't think you can buy it any more, as I've been blown away by how much better is was than the Aldi/Lidl special. I can only imagine how good these Park Tool ones are for people like me who are doing lots of regular work on their own bikes.

I have one of these and a cheap Lidl one.

The park tool as you imagine is rock solid, it's a world apart in terms of stiffness and ability to hold a bike at funny angles via the seat post. Everything stays put and you can lever on things without it shifting.

The Lidl one has plastic clamps so the whole head can rotate if weighted too much and it's generally a bit wobbly when loaded with a MTB. Lidl one does serve a purpose though, I still use it.
