*Found in the Redditch Lidl store.

I got one of these sets (slightly different, since they used to have a screwdriver handle in) and this has proven useful in so many situations.

Good build quality, lots of variety in the bits and ratchet stands up the test of time very well so far - definitely worth keeping in your car or in the house as a back-up at this price.

The one with the screwdriver handle is much more useful than this set, the 46 piece set with the screwdriver handle has proper screwdriver sockets and not just screwdriver bits, plus various socket extensions. Much more useful for the house or boot of the car.
The 46 piece set is available on Amazon for £9.99.

    Excellent set. Use it often.

I also got the version with the screwdriver ratchet handle and I've used it for all sorts of things around the house. Not sure how useful a 1/4" ratchet will be unless you need to get into tight spaces?

Looked at this in Lidl the other day. The lack of a screwdriver handle put me off for the reasons others have given

saw this instore but couldn't work put why anyone would want a socket handle over a screwdriver handle for screw bits.

For the allen bits & torx it's quite useful, but agreed on the screw bits

It'd have to be a super slick rachet mechanism, otherwise it'll be incredibly frustrating to use on the rare occasion you actually need something like this.

Thanks for posting this - by chance, I happened to be looking for a 1/8" hex bit, a bit holder, and a hex-to-1/4" drive adapter and each was looking like costing £5, so you saved me a fiver and I got a load of other bits and a ratchet. A screwdriver handle might have been better, but I already have one, and this little ratchet drive seems pretty decent - I'm sure it will come in handy.

The imperial bits in this set are not that common, so it's a handy kit for that alone. (edited)
