The Divine is dead. The Void approaches. And the powers lying dormant within you are soon to awaken. The battle for Divinity has begun. Choose wisely and trust sparingly; darkness lurks within every heart.

Who will you be? A flesh-eating Elf, an Imperial Lizard or an Undead, risen from the grave? Discover how the world reacts differently to who - or what - you are. It’s time for a new Divinity!

Gather your party and develop relationships with your companions. Blast your opponents in deep, tactical, turn-based combat. Use the environment as a weapon, use height to your advantage, and manipulate the elements themselves to seal your victory.Ascend as the god that Rivellon so desperately needs.

Explore the vast and layered world of Rivellon alone or in a party of up to 4 players in drop-in/drop-out cooperative play. Go anywhere, unleash your imagination, and explore endless ways to interact with the world. Beyond Rivellon, there’s more to explore in the brand-new PvP and Game Master modes.

-Choose your race and origin. Choose from 6 unique origin characters with their own backgrounds and quests, or create your own as a Human, Lizard, Elf, Dwarf, or Undead. All choices have consequences.

-Unlimited freedom to explore and experiment. Go anywhere, talk to anyone, and interact with everything! Kill any NPC without sacrificing your progress, and speak to every animal. Even ghosts might be hiding a secret or two…

-The next generation of turn-based combat. Blast your opponents with elemental combinations. Use height to your advantage. Master over 200 skills in 12 skill schools. But beware - the game’s AI 2.0 is our most devious invention to date.

-Up to 4 player online and split-screen multiplayer. Play with your friends online or in local split-screen with full controller support.

-Game Master Mode: Take your adventures to the next level and craft your own stories with the Game Master Mode. Download fan-made campaigns and mods from Steam Workshop.

-4K Support: an Ultimate 4K experience pushing RPGs into a new era!

Ive been playing Diablo 4 and being the last game i played of this type was DOS2, its been a bit of a shock how incredibly shallow and lacking diablo is.

    dos2 is awesome.

They're different genres, DOS2 is a crpg while diablo is an arpg. It's not a hard and fast rule but generally crpgs are story rich with strategic combat and arpgs are grind fests with fast paced combat. If you want a story rich rpg try baldur's gate 3, it's made by the same developers as DOS2 and is a few steps above it. (edited)

How's the gameplay on a Steam Deck? Has anyone tried it?
    Joseph_JonesxAE's avatar
Probably very good. They got it running very well on Switch so I reckon the Deck would have no issues tbh.

Recent reports says it runs great, but the UI might be a bit small.

Preferred this to BG3, so a bargain at this price!

So did I. I don't think it's necessary a better game, but one thing it does do better is the music. BG3's music is fine, but D:OS2's music is out of this world and adds so much to atmosphere.

Would anyone recommend playing the first game? Or is this a stand alone game.

The first game is very decent, but the story and writing isn't the best. You can play 2 without worrying about missing anything significant.

Don't do it! You'll get nothing done all year!

Finally pulled the trigger on this and got the Source Saga pack. Great price and you also get the original Divinity: Original Sin “classic” version in addition to the enhanced version. Just in case anyone was wondering!

Did you get divine divinity and beyond divinity with that?

This is a lot of game for the money, hours and hours of content. Larian are masters of their craft, anyone who's played Baldur's Gate 3 will know that.

It is worth mentioning as well that DOS:2 has a huge library of quality workshop mods, so there's tons of replayability opportunity. (edited)

You can play as a skeleton in Divinity: Original Sin 2 so you should all buy it.

    Can't recommend this game enough

Thanks for posting this , spotted this a while back at this price but dithered too long and missed it. Was waiting for it to be discounted again.

DOS is a great game for the tactical fights, but the story wasn't killing it for me. DOS 2 would be the best game of its type in existence, had BG3 not come out last year.

I have over 160 hours on this game and have a lot more game play to go. I've been playing it for years. I return to it every so often when I need to escape reality. Love it
