    I understand that Polar is a well respected brand, but can anyone recommend a HRM that has BT LE/ANT+ and costs less than £25?

    Wohoo Tickr. I got mine from cex. That was around £15-20. Gave it a nice wash and it's working perfectly for a while now.

    The plastic/rubber has rotted away on mine after about 3 years, washed it after every wear. really should buy a new strap, or the after market ones any good? (edited)

    You can get them on eBay for 6 quid and they're as good as the branded ones, I keep a few in rotation.

    Found out a year ago after 5 years of owning that this hr sensor gives out a lot more information than just basic hr. It throws out heart rate variability data. Using’elite’ app in iOS it can be used to indicate when to rest and when you can start training again…..bonus
