    Bought a pot grown Christmas tree 4 years ago and it's still going strong so I consider it as a free tree for the front room for the last 3 years.

    Strange that they call these pot grown whereas mostly they are not, they tend to be rooted stock dug up & then popped into a plastic bag & plant pot, when you come to repot or plant you see that the root has often been cut. We have had 6 "pot grown" trees in the last 6 years & after Christmas we plant outside, only 2 have survived from 6

    It's slyly worded - 'potted' grown Christmas tree, so they grew it, then potted it!
