    Latest driver is 31.0.101.4369 (dated 05/16/2023) >

Breakdown of driver improvements here >

A discussion of the fan control improvements here >

Apart from the above I don't see any performance reviews for this driver, but we can assume that Intel is continually making performance improvements where possible.

IMPORTANT, if you buy this card check your BIOS is updated and that 'Resize BAR' and 'Above 4G Decoding' options are enabled in the BIOS otherwise this card will run like cack.

Wish there was less of a gap between this and the A750 - the novelty of having both the first Arc flagship and the penny-farthing cooler is really cool, but it's not £100+ cool...

£100 for an extra 8GB, who do they think they are, Nvidia?

Cooler placement looks a bit odd

It’s meant to be a blower + normal fan hybrid, Acer claim it’s more efficient but in reality it doesn’t do a lot (Gamers Nexus did a review on it).

Interesting card but I think I’d rather have a 3060 Ti or RX 6700, this is still too expensive given the compromises - mostly that it can be buggy in slightly older games and the drivers still need work, though they are way better than launch. (edited)

I would be down to try an Intel GPU but I mostly play wacky older random games and wanna try VR at some point so would definitely be a bad choice

Yep, this gen isn't great if you're into older less popular games or VR.
Hopefully next years Intel Battlemage cards don't have the some problems, if they're priced well enough that's what I'll be going for. The top card will be around RTX 4080 performance, and that'll all I'll need.
