Took mine back... Really uncomfortable to hold as its cheap and nasty material... Mine also had a chunk missing on the handle.. All fine if you wear gloves but not for barehands

the finish isn't ideal, but using proper technique means that the friction experienced should hurt your hands, even competion kettlebells will tear your hands if you don't use the correct technique during snatch etc

I'm fairly scrawny in terms of my arms, just starting out, looking to strengthen my back and core - any suggestions for starting weight to buy?

Get 2*8 or 2*12 then you can do hiit stuff with a lighter weight and double rack them for heavier leg stuff.

Don't go too heavy too soon or you'll destroy your lower back in a week

I have several of these, and rate them for the price but be aware - every one had a sharp bit somewhere on the handle, but about 10 seconds with some sandpaper sorted it out no problem, I think it was just the paint coating. I use these with bare hands no problem, and prefer the feel of metal to the silicone covered ones.

Also if you workout on a concrete floor like I do (i.e. my garage) the black paint coating will chip off the botton off these.

I'd still buy them though! (edited)

I own three of these, not had any problem. They are metal so can be cold to hold at first, but much prefer the slim design to bigger vinyl versions. They feel solid and I expect them to last as long as I do. Would recommend.

I’ve been watching for stock in my area since that post - sadly still waiting

These are great quality. I have 3 of them.

    The perfect door stop

Good prices but not worth a 105-mile drive

    Cold, no 50kg option.

Imagine the delivery driver bring one that size.

    Oos pretty much everywhere

These are a great price but hit and miss on quality, got a few good ones and the odd shocking one with either a massive seam or dent in the handle making them unusable for things like snatches and cleans

you're supposed to change grip during the period that the kettlebell is inertia, this method prevents friction, advanced users even incorporate chalk to aid fingertip grip

Good price if you can get it but as soon as I saw it was Argos I didn’t even bother. I’ve yet to be able to find stock for any argos ‘deal’. Ever.

Plenty available everywhere. Your new year not going to plan?

    Very poor quality overall.

I mean, sure they're a weight but bear in mind that most of them are pitted and have sharp edges you'll need to sand off.

As they're so cheap, I've tried a few of these on previous offers but always ended up taking them back as they're awful
    bigweapon07's avatar
How awful can a weight be. They're all QC checked for sharps.

    24kg is a 2 man delivery

    duplicate of hotukdeals.com/dea…934

These are low quality but worth considering for the price.
My gripe is the handle is too wide on the 24 , assume same on the others but IDK.

Good value deal for casual workouts, but if you decide to take kettlebells seriously invest in high quality bells. I have 2 16kg I bought from Argos a few years ago and the outer casing is all cracked and corroded. Not the case with my Iron Bull kettlebells.

24kg purchased. Now I have a full suite of matching KB. Thanks.
