Any decent deals for ps plus extra? My subscription end this month
    CraigeDavido's avatar
Best and cheapest way is get a £84 gift card from Shopto.net for £69.85, and use that to purchase PlayStation Extra, cheaper than paying £84, so you saving £14 right there
  3. imranio's avatar
I bought Ratchet and Clank a couple of weeks ago so it would be put onto plus. You are welcome, my sacrifice was worth it
    DuncTT's avatar
Please buy god of war ragnarok, harry potter & cyberpunk 2077 next…

Ratchet is still the best PS5 exclusive along with Astro imo.
    RebTheRebel's avatar
Absolutely love Astro and nearly everyone with a PS5 I know hasn't even played it. They keep thinking it's just a tech demo despite me telling them it's a little bit more than that. Thing is they're all long time PS gamers so they'd love all the references too. But they still haven't played it.
  5. Shoozle's avatar
Nice, glad I held off on buying ratchet

    Thank you Turkey
    B7869's avatar
I just done it now and it worked perfectly! 12 more months of PS Plus Deluxe
  6. Diancecht's avatar
Tempted to sell my series x for a ps5 and subscribe to ps plus extra. The only trouble is I have 3 years gamepass ultimate (didn't pay anything for it) and a couple of unplayed games I would need to rebuy if I did move over
    Plumbz's avatar
I done exactly this in February and loving it way more than the X. You can still use Xbox cloud and PC till gamepass runs out. I was going to rebuy Watch Dogs Legion but now I don't need to
  7. nimbusgamer's avatar
Hang on.. are PS5 exclusives, like R&C: Rift Apart, streamable on PS4 and PC? *cautiously excited*

    Nope.

ratchet and clank not on ps4?

    that’s a shame
    MetallicA's avatar
Ps4 isn't capable of running it
  10. Y_G's avatar
Silly to buy R&C unless you were desperate to play it there and then. Was always hitting PS+ eventually. Surprised it took this long really since the hype on it died down ages ago. I don’t buy lowest common denominator games like this but just for the easy platinum & the fact it’s free I’ll play it through.
    yodawggangsta's avatar

why did the post with Games leaving PS Plus Extra get removed? Was helpful

If you install and then the game gets removed from Extra it is no longer playable - is that right?
I know basic - if you install / "buy" it then it is always yours
    SnoopZ's avatar
Yes you lose access to any game that gets removed from Extra/Premium even after you add it to your library.

Any game from the Essential tier you get to keep forever after adding to your library as long as you're subscribed to PS+ you can play them. (edited)
  12. Will's avatar
Not sure what this means, sorry haven't had time to play games for a while, but interested for my son. Is this a bundle? or are you saying these are the free games that all PS Plus members will get this month? Anyone knows?
    SnoopZ's avatar
I'm assuming your son has a PS+ subscription?

    There are 3 Tiers

    1. PS+ Essential - this gives you multi player access for playing online and 3 free games you can add to your library every month.

    2. PS+ Extra - Includes everything from the Essential Tier plus a huge library of 100+ games, these games sometimes get removed and others get added which is what this topic is referring to and this is an awesome tier in my opinion.

    3. PS+ Premium - You get everything from the other tiers plus access to some older games and the ability to stream, in my opinion not very good value.

Have a read below, it also includes pricing but you can purchase gift cards for funds from places like shopto so becomes a little cheaper.

    pushsquare.com/gui…ned
shopto.net/en/…84/ I buy this gift card which covers the full cost of PS+ Extra(£84) but the gift card only costs £69.85. (edited)

Bus Simulator 21: Next Stop |
    MrWeeWoo's avatar
As a fan of Euro Truck Simulator on the PC, I'm the same
  18. SnoopZ's avatar
Yet another reason why PS+ Extra is simply a no brainer and awesome, it saves me so much money as I haven't felt the need to purchase games anymore since Elden Ring last year!
  19. Moody_Cloud's avatar
PS Plus Extra is excellent, but Premium is really poor. We're coming up to a year since the service began and there's been ZERO PS2 games added and only a handful of PS1 and PSP games added.

You'd expect at least two PS1 games each month and one PSP game as an absolute minimum. Yeah you can stream PS3 games but it isn't good enough IMO.

PS Plus Extra gets a 5/5

PS Plus Premium gets 2/5 at best. Needs HUGE improvement.
    quidditys_shore's avatar
This is the reason I'm still on basic ps+.

Almost all ps2, ps1 & psp games that have been added I already own digitally (over 9 years of ps+!) & its costing my a lot less to buy the ps1/psp games I don't have on the vita to then get the ps4/ps5 version free.
  20. dalibertine's avatar
I have to say, that as a subscriber to both Game pass and PS Plus Premium, I am much more impressed by the monthly games coming out on PS Plus. There is almost always a AAA game to enjoy.
    SnoopZ's avatar
I hear this a lot now with people saying PS+ is better.
  21. boulder1's avatar
Ratchet & Clank was like playing a pixar film. An absolute joy of a game, definitely recommend anyone who's subbed to give it a go.
  22. Serpico73's avatar
And the wait for Ratchet and Clank finally pays off 👌. Excellent month
  23. EmperorRosko's avatar
Is it just me or is Sony/PlayStation really stepping up on PS Extra? There’s been some major games dropping recently.

I used to think a Game Pass was way better value but not now.
    CraigeDavido's avatar
Not just you, it's been great for past month or so in my opinion, of what the games ive downloaded abd played off the PlayStation Extra so far. I've also got gamepass Ultimate, I hardly touch it on my Series X. I only paid 68 quid for 3 years of ultimate.
  24. codebee's avatar
Rift apart Was waiting for it to drop to £20 but this is even better!
  25. SandorClegane's avatar
Been very impressed with Plus recently. I think it's starting to pull away from Xbox Game Pass. It's a great time to be a PS5 owner, not so great for a Series X owner. I guess if you have both like me it's neutral. I feel as though my Series X is becoming a bit redundant at this point.
    focux007's avatar
Yeah i agree, only so many times you can say its got halo and forza like they're enough to warrant entire gamepass (admittedly at this point in life the only person I'm trying to justify it to is myself )
  26. Hotdays's avatar
R+C is a masterpiece - most technically advanced game on the ps5 by far!!
    the.porter's avatar
Agreed it’s stunning and so so clever

I'm borrowing a mate's PS5 while he isn't getting much use out of it - I bought a GOW: Ragnarök code off eBay for 20 quid and with Rathcet and Demon's Souls on Extra I literally have access to basically every PS5 exclusive I honestly care about (Until Spiderman 2 lol)
    jalaldevil's avatar
£20 for Ragnarok is amazing, they all seem to be £30 when I last checked.

R & C is a nice addition, but the rest are a little poor. Is Extra the same price as Gamepass, or is it cheaper?
    Kaz00ie's avatar
Extra is £83 a year and was £49.99 in the last Black Friday sale. Game Pass Ultimate is £131 a year.
  39. rimz790's avatar
Will play R&C, did buy it on disc for my boy to play and complete, which he did and then sold it on completed Lake on Game Pass and really liked the simple relaxed nature of the game (edited)
