If anyone is new to this and are thinking about getting a Asda gift card these come with a warning if you are thinking of using them online. TopCashBack will not pay you the cashback on your Asda order if you use a Gift Card to help pay for your shopping. Even if you have got it from them (Topgiftcards) Just a warning as It has happend to me three times until I worked this out

Clear in the Asda Groceries T&Cs in TCB. Also worth noting most retailers don't give cashback on TCB when using GCs.

What will stop me getting cashback?

I've just bought a £6 Asda gift card to do the pizza offer fiddle. So that's £2.10 from TCB. Then you buy the 2 pizzas and pop from Asda. Then get a Vue cinema ticket or sky store credit and end up in pocket.

Or you could activate the 500 bonus nectar points ebay offer and the 3x nectar point offer which will get you just over £4.50 back on a £5 eBay purchase. I love the nectar/eBay link up. And to think i read on here one member saying he thought the nectar card was a waste of time! (edited)

I thought 500 nectar was worth £2.50 on eBay purchases? (edited)

Somehow those Asda gift cards don't work when I try them in store..
    Russ2626's avatar
I've never had a problem using them but it usually takes at least 24 hours before the gift card is available after purchasing

Dining out card for me - harvester or Toby carvery or a nice local Vintage Inn. Lasts a year so just remember screenshot everything to chase up cashback and have an email section "vouchers" to keep track.

My topcash mostly doesn’t get tracked, often end up raising claim.
    Hutchyy's avatar
I just immediately make a claim every time

Thanks, John Lewis £5 gift card to spend in Waitrose. All done and tracked within 5 minutes.

Done.... Thanks for the heads up.

    £10 Sainsburys card purchased.

£0.58 cashback and £2 bonus showing within half an hour!
    paulandvicky's avatar
OK, a little long winded but hopefully this will help.

Via top gift cards buy 'You Choose All Access Digital VAR UK' - £10 minimum

Then, on the youchooseagift.co.uk site create an account and then you get the option to register the gift card you have just purchased..... This then puts a ten years pounds credit onto your account.

Still on the youchooseagift.co.uk site click on the top left of the home page and select 'categories' and then 'access all'.

From here you can now scroll down to, and select, 'sainsburys e gift cards'.

When purchasing, you already have the credit for when you get to the checkout and, once purchased, should receive the sainsbury gift card via email within an hour or two.

It sounds long winded but doesn't take too long... The most time is waiting for the final gift card to appear

New to topcashback, on my laptop I've clicked through to eBay using the website, and bought something. Anything else I needed to do or will it just track after doing that? Not seeing it on the topcashback site, but they did say it takes about a day.
    andiron87's avatar
Ebay takes some time to track, but it's very reliable .
  13. diddytitz's avatar
How do you lodge a cashback claim for topcashback. They ask the seller, but it was them offering the £2
    mark9915's avatar
Open a ticket with Customer Services.  They are normally quite good and will add the bonus manually if needs be.

Ahhh not again. Just when you think you're done buying rubbish.

Just wonder how many of these £2 bonus vouchers being funded by missing cashbacks Topcashback didn't pay. They owe me around a grand. Mostly untracked cashbacks.

Sainsbury's vouchers via Top Gift Cards & You Choose All Digital for me .. £10 minimum spend (edited)
    andiron87's avatar
Then you only get 20% discount rather than 40% on eBay etc.
Probably even less as there's plenty Sainsbury's cards going for 5-10% below their price, not mentioning prices being more expensive
  17. uF0n's avatar
Not working for me... Anyone else having an issue?
    mark9915's avatar
Probably everyone as it doesn’t start until tomorrow!

Tip , I buy startselect Netflix gift cards for my Netflix subscription. Minimum is £25, but when these bonuses appear on TCB I buy one. So £2 bonus and 3%TCB.

Makes a change from Costa gift cards that I didn't use often
    vidic007007's avatar
Sorry if this is a silly question, can you explain how to do this? As it sounds good.
  19. tinfoilhat's avatar
tcb hardly ever pay out, proper con. Didn't pay my GiffGaff claim, didn't pay my airport parking claim and didn't pay out booking.com. I think they've paid about 30-40% of the time and that's being generous.

    Hey

We do pass on all of the funds we receive from retailers for purchases made back to members as cashback offers. We do need to be confirmed as eligible before being passed funds and if we are being declined for cashback we may need to dispute this through the claims process.

If you would like us to take a closer look please drop us a DM with your username

I had to close my Top cashback account as on 2 occasions they failed miserably to track legitimate purchases and refused my credit back.
Not worth the hassle so decided to leave and use better sites.
