- I havethe S20 currently and trying to decide whether it's worth upgrading now. Any hands on experience how much better the S23 is? Most reviews seem to compare the ultra or are reviews on paper only. This is a good review. From what I've read and watched, you should see quite an improvement from the S20
- Hot from me good find
- Is this a good deal or am I tripping?Yes, the phone by itself is £899 and with this you get the sim card and the earphones
- Need 512gbI'm thinking I'd be better with 256GB (plus I need more data than this occasionally). What do you do with 512GB?
- I did the 50gb for £23.99 in store, manager matched deal online, plus 25 voucher for porting number whilst there. When did you do this please? Which store I believe mobiles.co.uk doesn't have a retail store isn't it?
- Any trade in offers availlable please?
- For those not sure if this is a good deal or a contender for deal of the year and we are only at the start of March. See additional infoWon't be 14.4% increase next year. ID use CPI + 3.9%.
- Anyone had any experience with the £100 additional trade in that they offer on the website? States it's valid on the purchase of a S23, but I don't see how they would know you have purchased one as it's doesn't seem to have a field to link the trade in to the new purchase. Hot deal anywayBuyer beware, another misleading Carphone Warehouse deal. They have this £100 additional trade-in advertised on the S23 page but when you open up the T&C's it only applies to the S23 Ultra. So if you go for this deal dont bank on the additional £100 trade-in
- Anyone any thoughts on this ID mobile? Never heard of them before but need a new phone now. I see they use 3 network....is that good?3 are fine, but network signal is entirely dependent on your location
- Too much up front for me...would rather just a more expensive contract, don't like it how they all do this nowIt's a lot up front but it curbs the yearly increases caused by crazy inflation by having a smaller monthly payments
- Alas, this is gone. They've raised the price by £4pm so the total cost is now £927.76 (excluding 2024 price rise).
To add salt to the wound:
- The new £26.99 per month is more than the CPI rise would have been, so they've actually put it up more than you'd expect.
- The deal was actually even better than posted here, since Carphone Warehouse had the same offer and had £100 cashback on TCB, so the total cost was £732.
- You can now get an S23+, with 512gb storage for £914.76 - £35 TCB = £879.76, so not far off this price.
-- Doesn't seem like CPW have that deal, so you can't get the £100 cashback. That would have made it cheaper than the S23!
I am kicking myself for not just going for it at £732. It feels like it's going to be very hard to beat that price for a while, especially with the added earbuds.
Last 12 months with 14.4% increase will be 26.30 x 12 = £315.60. Totals £591.48
Plus the £280 upfront for the phone (Total will be roughly = £871.48).
That's £24.64 a month with the one contract rise minus the upfront cost of the phone
However If you were to take £650 off for the price of the phone and £100 for the buds and with the one contact rise it would work out £5.061 a month
