Will delivery of 1st box of wine be before your next payment is due?

Yes. Wine should arrive in a couple of days. My first payment over 3 weeks off. I've done loads of the wine things. Always very easy to cancel.

Normally I'd feel slightly guilty about taking the deal then cancelling, but anything to do with Richard Branson, I have no qualms whatsoever. (edited)

Is this one of those "you have to ring them to cancel" grifts? I'm half tempted to transfer £20 to an old Halifax card I have, can't be arsed with the human contact.

Either that or I get to use the "I am an alcoholic and should not have ordered this in the first place" tactic someone here suggested a while ago on a Beer52 deal (edited)

It's a long time since I used Virgin wine, but I think normal prices are £8-£15 a bottle.

I'm pretty sure this is a cut price deal to get you started - and maybe I'd question how good the wines are?

My cashback has tracked. You get an extra £1 for every £5 you save in winebank. There’s a £50 voucher in Quidco and 7.5% cashback. Factor all that in and I think I’ll stick around for one more case as they have Durif which is hard to find in the UK.

Looks like it's tied to their wine bank monthly savings scheme (they contribute £1 for every£5 you save - idea is you spend your savings on crates of wine, but you can have your savings refunded (but not the free£1's they add).
I don't think there's a commitment to keep doing it, end whether you like?

Note, If you go for this you will be sighed up to the Wine Bank. This means default payment of £25 a month. You can reduce to £5 or take a 3 month holiday straight away via the website. You can of course cancel, but you will need to contact them to do that (edited)
