More easily available than the Costco deal. Morrisons is having a special offer on Skippy Smooth/Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter for £2 (340g jar). You can add to a delivery or a click and collect order and I'm sure it's available in-store at this price as well.

Possibly the best peanut butter brand aside from Jif - definitely better than Sun Pat at any rate ... (dry, clumpy, low taste). This is no longer as smooth as when it had palm oil but it's still smoother than most.

Note: Offer price £2 when you order by 05/03/2024. Offer subject to availability. Maximum 20 promotional items per customer.

I was in there yesterday buying peanut butter. I went for their own brand one. The higher priced one that doesn't contain palm oil. It's too runny though. Got to stir it before use.

I've had Skippy before as well. I wasn't keen on it either. Too dry.

It's like Goldilocks and the 3 bears. I'm looking for one that's juuuuuust right.

You may have gotten the palm oil free versions they always sell now. Peanut butter is just better with i guess.

The next one you can try is Jif. You can get it in several co op stores. Don't bother with Sun pat since that's quite dry already.

The alternative I go for if better Skippy or Jif is around is KP peanut butter. The crunchy nut one is nice

Ingredients - Cotton seed oil! That's a new one for me. Never heard of it before, but sounds like your gonna end up with a very dry mouth. I'm not even a big fan of peanut butter the thought is always better than the actual thing, but Im gonna try this, if you think it's the best brand out there. Cheers 🔥

Skippy and Jif are basically the same and taste waaaay better than any UK peanut butter.

Ikr? The only answer I can think of for how sun pat got so popular only plays into the classic tropes about British food in general

So they've replaced palm oil (about time) with rapeseed oil and cottonseed oil (whatever that is) + sugar.
That still makes this stuff junk in my book.

A bit of sea salt is all that should be added to proper peanut butter.

Nah, it's all about the additional oil. Just having Nuts and sea salt is way too clumpy and has near zero spreading capabilities on bread. Can't do a decent peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwich
